Plastic mulcher plate and chute failed, so I whopped-up a quick repair plate out of galvanized sheetmetal. I'll replace the screws with pop rivets once I go get some of them.

I took a shot of this last week with Debbie's phone cam, but it wouldn't forward. (Thanks AT&T.) We were back again this week and I made sure to bring my camera.
It's mounted high, almost to the ceiling, and is about 24" square. They have bands on the weekend, and I get the impression it gets a bit rowdy sometimes.
If you're ever in Hampstead, Maryland, make sure you stop here for some excellent Italian food and killer cheesesteaks and a stromboli so big it will take three of you to eat it.
Great food, great staff - just don't punch the walls or write on them, OK?

When I first drove by chickens were all over the porch. I turned around and they were in the yard by then... ruined my pictures! I hope the Colonel gets all them.
Our College Ministry Christmas party was "Redneck Christmas." That's my Mom's square dancing dress I'm wearing.
I have had this old worn out smoker sitting around for awhile. Thought it might make a good stand for out family fireworks. So we made leaned our fireworks a little to the redneck side, not that there is anything wrong with that.

The home version of the ever obscure Olympic sport of curling.
I wasn't sure what I was going to do for this assignment until I turned on the coverage this morning and watched the US Curling Team compete against Germany. I don't know why I find this sport so fascinating, but I do. It really isn't that exciting of a sport, but when it is on I just can't help, but watch. Maybe it is the sheer silliness of it (sorry if I offend any curlers), or how intense the commentators get about it. They really do seem to get worked up over what is, in essence, a game of shuffleboard.
With all the snow and ice we've gotten I think I'm in good shape to apply for a sweeping position on a team.
