Taken out at the edge of the Rio Rancho badlands. Much shooting takes place there, this was one of many drifts of shotgun shells ... and that was just the shotgun shells. Some dollars could probably be had out there by picking up and recycling all the brass lying around.
The use as a shooting area was the reason we didn't make it down into the canyons last time. Good shooting practice dictates shooting into a solid backstop; that time there were a couple of really deranged-looking trailer-trash types shooting at targets right on the edge. Lead flying everywhere, we decided not to explore further.

It's mounted high, almost to the ceiling, and is about 24" square. They have bands on the weekend, and I get the impression it gets a bit rowdy sometimes.
If you're ever in Hampstead, Maryland, make sure you stop here for some excellent Italian food and killer cheesesteaks and a stromboli so big it will take three of you to eat it.
Great food, great staff - just don't punch the walls or write on them, OK?
Remember: friends don't let friends act like rednecks!

When I first drove by chickens were all over the porch. I turned around and they were in the yard by then... ruined my pictures! I hope the Colonel gets all them.
Redneck Sledding is when my dad ties a rope to a sled then hooks it on the back of his truck, and pulls us through the field.
Our College Ministry Christmas party was "Redneck Christmas." That's my Mom's square dancing dress I'm wearing.
