I ganked this refridgerator from a neighbor's trash, drilled a hole in the side and put a beer keg in it. It has worked fine for a good ten years now. A keg lasts me about six weeks.

I think the general rule in the backcountry is the farther you are from the trailhead the nicer or least more polite the people you run into are: this trip was the exception to the rule. Somehow 3 idiots had got to this lake by horse (I have no idea how...it is kinda nasty) and we got to enjoy the loudest yelling in the history of the Sawtooths. "WHERE IN THE FUCK IS THE WHISKEY" was a fav repeated over and over for several hours. And of course a campfire with 6 foot high flames during fire season was awesome too. Welcome to Redneck Lake.
