There was a light rain falling when I snapped this image. Located on Hurricane Creek in the Wallowa Mountains, Oregon, USA.
Untouched and awesome! The red sky glowed over Longwood Gardens as the red and white lights twinkled below.
Taken at a Red Kite feeding station about 45 minutes from where I live. These guys were fighting over some chicken but ended up dropping it and the one at the bottom caught it on the wing. They just spiralled out of control in free fall. Amazing to watch.
Today Jackie wanted to go into town so Amber and I set off to the shooting estate and had a lovely peaceful walk and the temperature had cooled from the last few days. The deer were out and about and the Painted ladies seem to be on the move earlier than most of the butterflies. so with a few birds and the demoiselle what a lovely walk.
