Momma red fox from Bombay Hook NWR, DE. I suspect this is indeed the momma from the mating I saw in January. It's right along the same patch of the refuge... The droopy right ear also seems to match the other time I think I saw her... A couple of weekends ago I was at BBH and she was there with 2 kits. She looks much thinner and must have her summer (thin) coat on... This winter her coat was just amazing.
I noticed in a few of my recent photos that her eye lids seemed to have some slack in them, I wonder if that's just a sign of weight loss/summer coat, or if she's ill with something. Other than that, she did look fine, and behaved quite normal/calm...

this time I also used RAW to process and upload this one , Never knew one could do so much with RAW
A new season, a new way of thinking, but I still need an umbrella to protect myself...
An umbrella but a red one, full of passion.
So I really liked this shot...it was the only one that came out with pretty good focus, and sharpness on each of the petals. Also, I was able to get the colour right. I can never take good pictures of red flowers. I played around with it a bit on Lightroom. I'm a little afraid to jump into Photoshop for editing pictures, because I want to perfect my skills in Lightroom before completely switching over.
I keep learning new things everyday on Lightroom, and then I realize I can use those to process pictures I've taken in the past...that's usually how my day goes along. Lol.
Here's to roses - the most enthralling flowers...seeing them always puts a smile on your face :-)

While I've been recuperating, friends and family have stopped by bringing all sorts of goodies, including flowers, fruit, and other foods. Most know that these will brighten my day in all sorts of ways. The fruit, for instance, is as much fun to photograph as it is to eat.
I'm currently doing a short wedding photography course and today we had a practice shoot. Love these quirky wedding shoes modelled by Claire, our model and course tutor.
such an amazing vibe tonight during our "Wild Child" themed shoot. Vera knocked it out of the park and kept us wanting for more.

a stroll along the river Thames on the South Bank of London can be inspiring in many ways. The smells, sounds, sights and sensations of this part of the city are stimulating and relaxing at once. The vivid colors seen in night time illumination of buildings such as the Royal National Theatre viewed here from beyond the tree-lined walkway is a good example. Beauty can be found in simplicity.
