This was the first shot on a new roll and I forgot to take of the red filter I thought I was still shooting black and white. Im happy I made the mistake.

Red-Eyed Vireos are a common summer resident in Eastern deciduous forests. When fall arrives they head for the Amazon basin.
The trouble with a rangefinder is close focus when out and about, I was quite left out in the butterfly house and had to mainly content myself with the plants, knew I should have packed the Visoflex, next time perhaps.
The water looked really cool when the fireworks went off and the boats were lit up. This was taken from the south end of lake Union in Seattle.
Yesterday morning as I was walking to my car in our building's parking lot, I noticed this thin red flower from afar. It stills amazed me the random places where you can find beauty. This morning I couldn’t resist, and went back.
My first time baking (and eating) a Red Velvet Cake. I must say that even though the amount of food coloring scared me a bit, this cake was beautiful and delicious!
