I have been watching this red camellia out of my bedroom window and this morning it had popped... I love when the flowers start coming out.. Seems it is so quick because we have waited so long...
I look through my window,
and what do I see?
My life is a view through
Rose Colored Glass
The world is an alright place.
Trees sprout leaves for me to see
Cars drive by, and the driver's wave 'hello'
People smile and acknowledge you as they walk by....
Don't ruin my illusion of life...
Don't tell me this isn't real...
This is my vision; my illusion; my dream....
Through my rose colored glass

I have return home after a wonderful holiday in Australia. Our first stop was Port Douglas where we had five wonderful days.
Port Douglas July 23, 2014 Queensland, Australia
Port Douglas is a town in Far North Queensland, Australia, approximately 70 km (40 mi) north of Cairns. The town is named in honour of former Premier of Queensland, John Douglas. Port Douglas developed quickly based on the mining industry. Other parts of the area were established with timber cutting occurring in the area surrounding the Daintree River and with settlement starting to occur on lots around the Mossman River by 1880.
Previous names for the town included Terrigal, Island Point, Port Owen and Salisbury. The town is situated adjacent to two World Heritage areas, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest.

I must have been about to go on holiday and forgot to post this. Nice to see the Red Arrows back to a full display team of nine planes after two fatal accidents.
