Went up to Blagdon in Northumberland on Sunday. As we drove in, we couldn't believe how lucky we were.
This Red Squirrel was giving excellent views and we didn't have to wait - very unusual in the world of wildlife photography!
This seems strange that on a holiday, you would go to a cemetery... twice. But this was to photograph the Red Squirrels that are resident there and wild. They are apparently becoming more and more tame... these came to within a few metres.
Hope that you like it and all comments and criticisms are welcome.

Red is any of a number of similar colors evoked by light consisting predominantly of the longest wavelengths of light discernible by the human eye, in the wavelength range of roughly 630–740 nm. Longer wavelengths than this are called infrared (below red), and cannot be seen by the naked eye. Red is used as one of the additive primary colors of light, complementary to cyan, in RGB color systems. Red is also one of the subtractive primary colors of RYB color space but not CMYK color space. Sometimes certain shades of red are even used to symbolize anger, or aggression.
Who knew? I just liked the colour...
View On Black - It is very much better on black.
This was a little project that turned into more work that it should have. I ended up having to make too many orders from bricklink.com, and one that took way too much time.
Hope you all enjoy. More pictures can be seen at www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=thirdwigg.
