The tide water from the Hood Canal had been diverted by a dike, for a farm.
A while ago the dike was removed and the wetland is back. The wetland is very necessary for the habitat of salmon, who need it for their life cycle. Now part of Theler Wetlands.
This abandoned barn near Fusilier, Sasakarchewan, looks as tough it is being reclaimed by the earth,
Its not often I do externals but this one was an exception. Nature slowly taking its time and reclaiming.
Many people would like to remodel a barn to use as living quarters or for some other purpose. The main reason more barns are not repurposed is the expense. Often the cost to convert a barn into something new is more than constructing a separate structure. This makes capturing a barn that has been born again a pleasure.
This awesome old building lies north of Butte, Montana, in what is called "Elk Park."
The clouds and fall colors gave a perfect backdrop and atmosphere to a decaying but still proud relic of the past.
"Korriban, ancient birthplace of the Sith. We believed ruins were all that remained of their evil empire."
After being long gone the Sith Empire returned to the known galaxy. There first target was a Republic space station orbiting Korriban. After destroying the space station they came to reclaim the planet for themselves although there weren't much Republic forces present because the planet was full of
terrifying beasts and the Dark Side controled everything.
"After a thousand years, Korriban is ours again."

This is a scene inspired by the MMO RPG game Star Wars The Old Republic a.k.a SWTOR. It's supposed to represent a scene right after the Cinematic trailer 'Return’ and was displayed at Bricking Bavaria 2019.
Enjoy and happy building!
This is the third image which was taken whilst at Kennall Vale Nature reserve on a recent trip to Cornwall.
As I continued my explore of the area, the building you see caught my attention. After capturing the scene on my phone (one day I may post), I then continued to photograph the structure and nature continuing to reclaim.
This was a fun night...A lot of work ha but the moon was shinin bright!!
Good times I did both the pieces and Faker did all the background.
InfraRed shot of two rusty old cars. Love the way the plants have taken over the vehicles (reclaimed by nature)!

I assume this is the remains of an old foot bridge...I was standing on the new one. Very foggy morning, I thought it made for an interesting shot.
Thanks for taking a look!

What a lovely feeling it was waking up today knowing that I did not need to study. I managed to head out with the camera for an hour once the hangover had lifted enough to allow me to function!

A spot that I've had in mind for a while now but never got around to shooting. I'll be back when I've more time as I reckon there's better to be had from there...
This is the best of a somewhat rushed session.
