Live site-specific sound installation
The Cube, Old Market Square, 63 Albert St. - Winnipeg, Canada
10 AM into the evenings, Wednesday, Oct 1 to Saturday, Oct 4.
Near the limits of audible sound are vague acoustic territories above and below the boundaries of human hearing. Sounds that travel the furthest and have the most visceral effect are the lowest frequencies of our everyday spaces. These sonic spaces are teeming with environmental and increasingly with urban sounds that are just beyond our perception. This territory of low frequency sounds are continuously emerging around us and are defined by an acousma of atmospheric resonances that combine with the rumblings of traffic, machinery, and public activity. The emergent soundscape, Subtle Territory, transforms this field of sonic resonances into an unfolding acoustic experience of everyday life.

Sexton works with analog electronics, crystal oscillations, electromagnetic fields, and electro-chemical improvisation to create direct links between lived experience and the processes of nature, drawing us into contact with the micro-macro cosmos
Situated between alchemical ritual and lab experiment, Phase Space is an
audio/visual performance investigating the space where liquid, crystal, electricity, and flesh coincide. Finding its ground in experimental physics and embodied cosmology, Sexton aims to bridge the gap between theory and experience, intensifying wonder in the everyday.

We celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied and multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

Graduates receive their college diplomas during the 2016 Collegiate Graduation and Recognition Ceremony aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island June 3. The ceremony was held to give the graduates the opportunity to take the traditional walk and get recognized for their accomplishment in a forum that friends and family could attend. The graduates were active duty service members, veterans and civilians from the Tricommand. Twelve higher-learning institutions awarded the graduates their degrees. Col. Peter D. Buck, commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, and other leaders from the Tricommand participated in the ceremony.
