The little explorer receives a message…
This is dedicated to my beloved friend, Coralie Bilasimo, who, sadly, died last week after a long battle with cancer.
She was an inspiration, a true light, and someone I will always keep in my heart. I wouldn't be the person I am today without having known her.
Love you so much, Coralie. I can't believe that you're gone. I know you will keep shining on us and in us always.
I hope we can all come together to send good energy to her husband, Ikon, and her family.
Keep shining bright, my friends.

The Court of the Myrtles (Patio de los Arrayanes) is part of the palace and fortress complex of the Alhambra. It was also called the Patio of the Pond or the Reservoir (Patio del Estanque o de la Alberca) because of the central pond, which is 34 metres long and 7,10 meters wide. The patio is divided in two sides by the pond, which receives its water from two fountains. The space has chambers and porticoes around it. These porticoes rest on columns with cubic capitals, which have seven semicircular arches decorated with fretwork rhombuses and inscriptions praising God. The central arch is greater than the other six and has solid scallops decorated with stylised vegetal forms and capitals of mocarabes.
I'm realizing day by day that many of my ideas , framing and subjects are shamelessly copied on Flickr , what really makes me angry is not the copying, but the fact that my ideas receive more faves on other people's photostreams !

“I turn my heart to the light and receive its beauty and nourishment. I turn my heart to the shadows as they reveal hues, shades and textures that contrast the light. I turn my heart to them both and embrace their gifts, for they have graced me with blessings untold.”

Eagles - "Hotel California" lyrics
Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax, " said the night man,
"We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave! "
Open your heart to sympathy, but close it against despondency. The flower which opens to receive the dew shuts against the rain.

I took the photo near the Drei Zinnen, when I saw the plant and the mountain in the background, I knew immediately that this is a beautiful motif. How do you like it?
Das Foto habe ich in der Nähe von den drei Zinnen gemacht, als ich die Pflanze sah und im Hintergrund den Berg wusste ich sofort, das ist ein schönes Motiv. Wie findet ihr es?

One of the many gifts we receive when we leave the confines of our homes. I captured this while out with a fellow camera enthusiast. I like shooting outdoors whenever I can. Opportunities like this I look at it as an example of one of the”Natures Gifts”. Though seeing it on screen isn’t quite the thrill as walking through the woods and being surprised as I was. Thanks for viewing my works. Your comments are always welcomed. Gratitude and Kindness play a part in my appreciation for Flickr. Sharing work with fellow enthusiasts all over the globe is a real thrill for me.
The Bee is not afraid of me.
I know the Butterfly -
The pretty people in the Woods
Receive me cordially -
The Brooks laugh louder
When I come -
The Breezes madder play;
Wherefore mine eye thy silver mists,
Wherefore, Oh Summer's Day?

Lake Jindabyne receives the flow from the Snowy River as well as its tributaries, the Thredbo River and Eucumbene River.
The Jindabyne pumping station pumps the water from the rivers into the Snowy-Murray tunnel where it flows west through Murray 1 and Murray 2 Power Stations before entering the Swampy Plains River and then the Murray River.
The flow of water into Lake Jindabyne is particularly strong during the spring months of October and November.
El Palmar National Park is located in the Argentine province of Entre Rios, which receives its name because it is surrounded by the Parana and Uruguay rivers. It is located 370 km from Buenos Aires. Formed by forests, forests of palm trees, mountains, grasslands and grasslands. It is inhabited by exotic birds, capybaras, vizcachas, gray foxes, mountain cats, wild boars ... There are also wild beasts controlled by specialized personnel. There are still ruins of the first inhabitants. Nature lovers will spend the summer at the campsite on the banks of the Parana River with their motor homes. There are walks in boats, on horseback, by bicycle. In the times that I visit it, I can not go through it all because of its great extension. It is wonderful and worth knowing. Sorry the camp is on the Uruguay River. Se hacen paseos en lanchas, a caballo, en bicicleta. En la veces que lo visito no puedo recorrerlo iintegramente por su gran extension. Es maravilloso y digno de conocer. Which is greater? To give to someone dear or in need or to feel so grateful to have received a gift of beauty. The gift needn’t be an object of material value. It may be a deed given from one to another. It could be information or advice. Kindness comes is given and received all the time. A bouquet of Roses or a single Rose doesn’t matter. The gesture given is endearing and the feeling of receiving any such thoughtfulness is a moving experience we feel. When either happens, the giving of ourselves in any way means there’s a warmth that comes over us. Likewise being the recipient of kindness of any kind warms us knowing we are thought of and cared for. Always the same is true. “To Give Or Receive Beauty” and what it does to us is an enriching and rewarding part of the human experience. Thanks for viewing my work.
Reddish Egret
The Reddish Egret (Egretta rufescens) is a medium-sized heron. It is a resident breeder in Central America, The Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Gulf Coast of the United States, and Mexico. There is post-breeding dispersal to well north of the nesting range. In the past, this bird was a victim of the plume trade.
According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, there are only 1,500 to 2,000 nesting pairs of reddish egrets in the United States — and most of these are in Texas. They are classified as "Threatened" in Texas and receive special protection.
Egrets are herons which have white or buff plumage and develop fine plumes (usually milky white) during the breeding season. Egrets are not a biologically distinct group from the herons and have the same build.

One of three photos I took while visiting my friends, Shauna & Martin in Picton, Ontario. This shots shows the sparkling lake, between the low lying branches. Best seen large by clicking on the photo.
Such a beautiful lakeside community, peaceful and relaxing. Thanks for your visits, enjoy each day:)
As the sun declined, I discovered these two cup agrions in this face-to-face encounter.
When night falls, these damselflies group together on common or nearby supports, and hide behind them with their long silhouettes when they detect a presence.
Enallagma cyathigerum, the cutting agrion, is a species of odonate insect that belongs to the European damselflies.
Agrions colonise the banks of clear, slow-flowing, well-oxygenated watercourses that receive plenty of sunlight.
The main threat to the agrionid is the modification of its habitat by man (mowing, dredging, water pollution). A National Action Plan for dragonflies was set up in 2010, with the aim of acquiring new knowledge about the ecology of the species in order to improve the protection of its habitat.

Jesus said in the gospels, "You can't put new wine in old wineskins". He was saying you can't go to a new level with an old way of thinking. For something new to happen, something has to resonate on the inside; your spirit man has to come into agreement with God and believe what the scriptures say. Psalm 115 says, "The Lord your God will increase you more and more."
In fact, Jesus said He came that we might have life to the full, in abundance, 'till it overflows. That means you're headed to three places; to a full life, an abundant life, an overflowing life. What type of container do you have ready to receive that overflowing life? If it's a little cup, it's time to get rid of that! You might think a barrel is big, but get rid of that, too! God has a barn load full of blessings in store for each one of you.
It's time to give God permission to increase you. God says that you are going to be most blessed. You're going to have the most peace, the most friends, the must fulfillment, the most resources, the most wisdom, and the most opportunity. Most blessed means you will not lack in any area. You may not have seen it yet, but if you'll stay in faith and make room, God says you're going to be the most blessed!
