The little explorer receives a message…
This is dedicated to my beloved friend, Coralie Bilasimo, who, sadly, died last week after a long battle with cancer.
She was an inspiration, a true light, and someone I will always keep in my heart. I wouldn't be the person I am today without having known her.
Love you so much, Coralie. I can't believe that you're gone. I know you will keep shining on us and in us always.
I hope we can all come together to send good energy to her husband, Ikon, and her family.
Keep shining bright, my friends.
The Cliffs of Moher (Irish: Aillte an Mhothair) are located at the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare, Ireland.
They rise 120 metres (390 ft) above the Atlantic Ocean at Hag's Head, and, eight kilometres to the north, reach their maximum height of 214 metres (702 ft) just north of O'Brien's Tower, which is a round stone tower near the midpoint of the cliffs that was built in 1835 by Sir Cornelius O'Brien. From the cliffs, and from atop the tower, visitors can see the Aran Islands in Galway Bay, the Maumturks and Twelve Pins mountain ranges to the north in County Galway, and Loop Head to the south. The cliffs rank amongst the most visited tourist sites in Ireland and receive approximately one million visitors a year - Wikipedia

The little man would also like to send a special shout out to Chant Lyric for sending him his new turtle friend!
Keep playing and creating.
Keep lifting one another up.
Keep shining bright, my friends!

I am not a fotographer, i am far away from that, but im trying hard and its something i love to do, "printing" my emotions inspired always from beloved songs and kind people that honoring me with dedicating some of their time to pose.
Im blessed to have such a big "Family" cause that's what we all are here. Thank you with all my heart for being part of my flickr journey and thank you for letting be a part of yours!

but... the target is the music, and you can listen to it here:
We receive a radio call that a Leopard with 2 cubs was seen in a cave of Kudu Rock.
We spend 2 days and more than 6 hrs staring at this cave.
On the first evening we could vaguely see them inside.
Our patience paid off on the 2nd morning.
We were not sure if the cats were still there at all.
Suddenly she appears on the foot of the rock, only to quickly disappear inside the cave.
Should that have been it?
A 2 minute sighting for 6 hrs wait?
We were lucky, the beauty climbed out again and we had the opportunity for some nice shots.
Unfortunately we did not get to see the little ones.
I take pictures because I like it, not because I am good at it.

A Gift is something that we give to a person that we like or even love! With a gift we express that we are related to that person.
In littleworld the tiny citizens bestow eachother with a "lucky coin" for the new year. This coin is an mascot / mojo for the person that receives it. So here is your mascot for 2021 shown in the image :)

The fly agaric is a mycorrhizal fungus, so it forms a symbiosis with trees. Preferred symbiosis partners are spruce and birch. The tree receives minerals and water from the fungus, in return the tree supplies the fungus with energy in the form of sugar. An ectomycorrhiza is formed.

Lake Jindabyne receives the flow from the Snowy River as well as its tributaries, the Thredbo River and Eucumbene River.
The Jindabyne pumping station pumps the water from the rivers into the Snowy-Murray tunnel where it flows west through Murray 1 and Murray 2 Power Stations before entering the Swampy Plains River and then the Murray River.
The flow of water into Lake Jindabyne is particularly strong during the spring months of October and November.

"There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that receives it" – Edith Wharton (American writer and designer).
The theme for "Smile on Saturday" for the 4th of January is "lit by candlelight", where the subject has to be illuminated by candlelight. I could have chosen many things, however I opted for a piece of jewellery, as I love the light reflecting sparkle of jewellery. In this case I have chosen a foliate late Victorian rose gold brooch featuring two spinels and a central citrine. Underneath the light cast by two tea lights set closely by it, the gold has taken on an even richer hue and the spinels a pinkish quality, whilst the citrine positively glows with amber gold candlelight. The brooch itself, being made in 1850 in Chester by the goldsmiths M&V (unable to find any information) is a lovely feminine example of a bar brooch. I hope you like my choice for this week’s theme, and that it makes you smile!

Which is greater? To give to someone dear or in need or to feel so grateful to have received a gift of beauty. The gift needn’t be an object of material value. It may be a deed given from one to another. It could be information or advice. Kindness comes is given and received all the time. A bouquet of Roses or a single Rose doesn’t matter. The gesture given is endearing and the feeling of receiving any such thoughtfulness is a moving experience we feel. When either happens, the giving of ourselves in any way means there’s a warmth that comes over us. Likewise being the recipient of kindness of any kind warms us knowing we are thought of and cared for. Always the same is true. “To Give Or Receive Beauty” and what it does to us is an enriching and rewarding part of the human experience. Thanks for viewing my work.

Jesus said in the gospels, "You can't put new wine in old wineskins". He was saying you can't go to a new level with an old way of thinking. For something new to happen, something has to resonate on the inside; your spirit man has to come into agreement with God and believe what the scriptures say. Psalm 115 says, "The Lord your God will increase you more and more."
In fact, Jesus said He came that we might have life to the full, in abundance, 'till it overflows. That means you're headed to three places; to a full life, an abundant life, an overflowing life. What type of container do you have ready to receive that overflowing life? If it's a little cup, it's time to get rid of that! You might think a barrel is big, but get rid of that, too! God has a barn load full of blessings in store for each one of you.
It's time to give God permission to increase you. God says that you are going to be most blessed. You're going to have the most peace, the most friends, the must fulfillment, the most resources, the most wisdom, and the most opportunity. Most blessed means you will not lack in any area. You may not have seen it yet, but if you'll stay in faith and make room, God says you're going to be the most blessed!
Red Eagle Fallsl receives its nickname, "Trick Falls", because there are actually two separate waterfalls in the same location. During the spring run-off water rushes over the top ledge for a 40-foot drop, while obscuring the lower falls. However, as the volume of water decreases by late summer, and the upper falls "dries up", water continues to rush through a sink hole at the top of the cliff before flowing out of an opening in the cliff face, thus creating the lower 20-foot falls.

My 1983 Ford Sierra 1.6 L
The 'biege thing' we call it. The project Sierra has sat for a month if not more being unused. Most set backs have been due to a limited parts supply. Despite sitting, the Sierra bursts into life with every key turn, it's much more eager than my low mileage example. Running lumpy when cold, once warmed up the engine is fantastic - it's definitely a car that wants to live.
There's a question mark over what to do with the beige Sierra. Now that the red Sierra wants for a couple hundred pounds thrown at it, I feel it should receive my immediate attention instead in order to preserve its condition. Whist financially doable, if push comes to shove I may sell this car - of course, most reluctantly. This car is in no way replaceable..
In an ideal world I think I'd like to push this into a garage and return to it in a year when I'm not juggling Uni, my new job, what to do with the Getz and putting money into the red Sierra instead.
The exhibition for the flame in the National Glass Museum is a tribute to the craftsmanship of glass instrument maker Edwin Dieperink. Craftsmen behind the works of artists and designers often receive little attention. while without their technical knowledge, inventiveness, perseverance and listening ear of a seemingly unfeasible idea, the execution would never have come about.
For the Flame shows work, by Dieperink, by Evert Meitner, Esther Jiskoot, Richard Meitner, Regula Maria Muller, Menno Jonker, Mieke Groot, Melvin Anderson
PADDY: *Reading.* "The Prince took Cinderella away with him in his carriage to the palace, where the king and queen were waiting to receive her as their daughter, and very soon she and the Prince were married with great pomp and ceremony."
OLEG: *Sighs.* "Oh thank you for reading us Cinderella, Paddy mijn beste vriend!"
PADDY: "Oh, you are very welcome, Oleg mijn allerbeste vriend."
OLEG: "You are such a good storyteller. I feel like I am there when you read, Paddy."
PADDY: "Oh what a lovely compliment, dear Oleg! I love reading, so it is a pleasure."
PADDY: “I’m so glad that you are here, Oleg!”
OLEG: “Oh I am too Paddy! It’s so lovely, sunny and warm here: just perfect to take away the chill I have been feeling in the snowy Netherlands.”
PADDY: "Very good, mijn beste vriend!"
OLEG: "It is so peaceful here.”
PADDY: “That is partially because Scout is still visiting Peter in the Netherlands where they are taking Peter's Dolly for a walk in her pram. It will give us a little bit more peace and quiet for a nice chat.”
OLEG: *Sighs deeply again.*
PADDY: "Is everything alright, Oleg?" *Concerned.*
OLEG: "What? Oh yes, yes, Paddy!"
PADDY: "You sound a little sad, dear Oleg."
OLEG: "Oh I'm just wondering how Peter is, and Mummy Marian. I want to meet baby Rune."
PADDY: "Oh yes! Mummy Marian's new grandson! That is so exciting for Mummy Marian! Baby Rune looks very cute in the photographs I have seen.
OLEG: "I haven't met him yet."
PADDY: "Do you want to go home and meet him, Oleg?"
OLEG: "Oh no, Paddy! You have been so kind to ask me here to Australia where it is warm, and you and Daddy have been so hospitable! I'm having such a nice time. I don't want to leave you, mijn allerbeste vriend!"
PADDY: "Well, don't forget that it is very easy to come and go as you please, mijn beste vriend. That is the joy of Fairy Mum's magical portal. You can have tea with me, and then go home and have dinner with Mummy Marian and meet baby Rune."
OLEG: "And you wouldn't mind, Paddy, mijn beste vriend?"
PADDY: "Of course not! I wouldn't have suggested it if I minded. I know I will see you again very soon. I'm quite sure that baby Rune would like to meet you."
OLEG: "Alright Paddy, maybe I will, if you don't mind. I would like to meet little Rune, and to help Mummy Marian look after him. After all, if Peter is helping, it only seems right that I should too."
PADDY: "Very good, dear Oleg, but not before another pot of Twinings English Breakfast tea in my new tea pot from Father Christmas and the Christmas Bear, and another story!"
OLEG: "Oh! Good idea mijn beste vriend!"
PADDY: "What story would you like next, mijn allerbeste vriend?"
OLEG: "Hhhmmm..." *Thinks.* "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs?"
PADDY: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs it is, mijn allerbeste vriend!"
Paddy and Oleg are reading my 1880 first edition of "Three fairy Princesses - Snow White, the Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella" illustred by Caroline paterson, published by Marcus Ward and Company in London.
My bears Paddy and Scout have made very good friends with two bears in Holland called Peter and Oleg (www.flickr.com/photos/40262251@N03/galleries/721577154558...) and their Mummy Marian Kloon (on and off). Peter and Scout are very similar and have become best friends. Paddy and Oleg are very similar and have become best friends too. Paddy decided to invite Oleg to Melbourne where it is lovely and warm, to stay for a little while and share his wonderful new tea set from Father Christmas and the Christmas Bear.
This beautiful children's tea set featuring transfer pictures of bouquets of flowers and idyllic English countryside scenes has been made by Woods Ivory Ware in the United Kingdom and dates from the1930s.
My Paddington Bear came to live with me in London when I was two years old (many, many years ago). He was hand made by my Great Aunt and he has a chocolate coloured felt hat, the brim of which had to be pinned up by a safety pin to stop it getting in his eyes. The collar of his mackintosh is made of the same felt. He wears wellington boots made from the same red leather used to make the toggles on his mackintosh.
He has travelled with me across the world and he and I have had many adventures together over the years. He is a very precious member of my small family.
Thank you Marian Kloon (on and off) for the use of Oleg's image in my photo montage.

How nice to receive holiday mail from those dear to us. Much more than an electronic missive, these letters and packages have that tactile delight of being opened, like a treasure being uncovered.
Each handwritten message is a genuine gesture of love, care, and affection. Letters from loved ones are often a delightful stew of emotions beautifully knitted in words. Good news is cherished and even bad news is appreciated for the bond as their heart is poured out to you.
Each letter presents precious moments captured and they are often carefully stored away until, years, perhaps even many decades later, they are reopened and read once again with an even more powerful effect.
This Christmas season, certainly text and email, but also deliver that wonderful gift of a letter or package. It will be the far more treasured correspondence.
