My ninth and final build for the latest Iron Builder round against Danko. The seed part is the Toy Winder Key in dark orange.
You veterans of the LEGO community should recognize the elements scattered around in different barrels and crates here – all of them are previous Iron Builder seed parts! How many do you remember?
Hopefully everyone enjoys this light-hearted conclusion to my Iron Builder submissions, and thank you so much for your continued support throughout all my rounds! It has been an honor to participate in a competition that inspired (and continues to inspire) me so much.
In particular, I have to give a special thank-you to Inthert, Jayfa, and Danko. for three amazing, incredibly memorable rounds.
It has been a pleasure competing one last time, and no matter what the results end up being, it was an honor to build alongside you, Jordan! Your speed and creativity are incredible – as can be seen by the fact that you single-handedly made more builds than some Iron Builder rounds have altogether. Simply crazy!

BFVA this year was amazing I met so many new people and got to talk to a lot of friends from online and BFVA 2015.I displayed my Battle of Bloody Gulch, which in my opinion turned out pretty good. I also got to meet Will Chapman for the first time and was apart of my first collab, Bastonge, that was a lot of fun. I got to hang out with a lot of cool people and get some pretty cool stuff. Finally I joined FloseLUG. Thanks again everyone for an amazing BFVA 2017 experience. I hope to go to BFVA next year.
p.s. if I forgot to tag you tag yourself, I met a lot of people and am a little forgetful. thanks for understanding.

Arealight printed heads, printed curved torsos, headscarves, coronets and soft plastic loin cloths
Fineclonier decals
Hand painting and decal application by me.
So here's the latest batch of Twi'leks as a group. They are really great looking figures individually or as a group. A big thanks again to Arealight for making these parts!!!
Now I admit, I'm not good at writing these kinds of things, or writing in general, but this was probably the second best Brickfair I've attended, right up there with BFVA 2016.
It was great seeing all my buddies and it was also great meeting new people, but one of the highlights of this year's BFVA to me at least, was the recognition of my work by some of my biggest inspirations and some of the most talented people in the community I know, and for that I feel humbled.
I would like to give special thanks to Justin, Hunter, Toby, Codey, Danny, Nikita, Yasser, Jeremy, USMC Justin, George, Miles, Kalon, Gregory, Cheech, Michael, Christian, Rob, Max, and Elliott (in spirit) for making Brickfair great as usual.
(Again, if I forgot to tag you or if I missed you at Brickfair then I apologize and feel free to tag yourself)
Well, Brickworld Chicago finished up yesterday, and I must say that I had an awesome time! I don't have any incredible pictures, so you'll just have to bear with this building I displayed.
Some of the highlights for me are:
-Watching giant BattleSHIP
-Talking to people from VLUG and GamerLUG
-Participating in a Simon Draft
-Talking with Ted Andes and seeing the Techwest collab come about
-Hanging out with Josiah N.
-And of course seeing the awesome displays from the rest of the attendees!
Two displays that really stood out to me were Tim Lydy's Forms of Gotham and the Giant Snails with Castles by the Eurobricks people (is that what they're called :P).
I wouldn't have been able to attend this year, if it wasn't for the fact that Josiah N. and his brother came to stay with us. I was able to drive to the convention with them :) Thanks a ton! We watched the Lego Movie on Saturday night, and Josiah and I were both so tired that we fell asleep within 20 minutes :P
I will tag a few people who I talked to or made the convention awesome for me :) I'm glad I could meet you guys!
Can't wait for next year!
Sola Deo Gloria!
Where we last left Vin was at Dalmanutha fighting off the Queen Galaneir's men. That was many moons ago and since then Vin has started up a little town on the south side of the lake Genava. His wine business is still up and running, getting shipments from all over Loreos. The location of his town (named Alamire) is perfect, due to City of Lors Vegos being just across the lake. Alamire is a mostly small commercial town, but is also a military town, housing Vin's unit and their family. On another note, since his adventures in Lenfald, Vin and Miri have become good friends and allies. But due to the current political turmoil, Miri has returned to Lenfald for her own safety, and the safety of her men. But, due to main unfortunate events, they will be reunited much sooner then they would imagine…
The end of 2022 and start of 2023 were particularly busy for me, so my recap is a bit late.
I was happy to complete 31 MOCs in 2022 across a variety of themes. Naturally castle and sci-fi saw the most representation, but I also enjoyed revisiting some favorite themes from the past thanks to the Roguebricks annual challenge.
Other contests and challenges I managed to participate in included Space Jam, Febrovery, RogueOlympics, SHIPtember, Novvember, Creations for Charity, the Colossal Castle Contest, and Guilds of Historica’s anniversary challenge.
We were glad to host the Summer Joust again this year and once again astonished by the show you all put on! Looking forward to this year’s installment already.
I had the pleasure of attending Skaerbaek in September and had a great time talking with old friends and finally getting to meet builders in person who I had known for years online.
I also made it back to the US for two visits with family, and on both occasions John and I were able to collaborate on scenes: Life in Allanar and Everdell Chapel.
Three new Minecraft products I worked on were released: 21187, 21242, 21245.
And something very different from Minecraft in the shape of 76989, the Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck.

Many thanks to all of you for providing endless inspiration for new MOCs and the amazing camaraderie that makes the LEGO community what it is.
I would love to hear which builds of mine you enjoyed most last year!
With 12 creations it's been a productive year for me. Hard to pick a favorite, but I'm especially pleased with how the the Valion frigate turned out. Also finally attended BrikWorld Chicago which was a lot of fun, both the city and the convention.
Don't forget to post your own recap in the "A year in Lego" group.
I suck at editing
I want to thank everyone but I cant tag u guys idk why it just doesn't work on my laptop I guess
My third Lego year (2019) has come to an end.
I'm not the fastest builder out there, but i don't mind. I had an amazing year in terms of Lego and also for me personal.
To sum up a couple of 2019 highlights for me:
+ We're expecting our first baby boy in may 2020
+ We bought a new house that will be finished in nov/dec 2020. Looking forward to having a bigger lego room and especially finally some space to actually display some sets/mocs.
+ I received some very cool physical & digital lego publications that i'm proud of.
+ I won 'Build of the Year' (2018) on arch brick for a second time in a row (not nominated this year, good luck to all the competitors that are).
+ Met some amazing new builders in person and online. I love being part of the lego community. Thx for that!
+ Participated in my very first collab #Secondage for the win :)
+ Last but definitely not least; I joined RebelLug this year. Thx for having me guys!
I don't know what 2020 will bring in terms of LEGO but i'm always in for an adventure! Know that i'm hard at work to finally finish my Venice Italy moc. I won't give myself a deadline, but you will see it when it's done!
Thx for alle the comments, feedback, laughs, cries & support i got the past years!
I wish you all the best, Lego-wise and personally, for 2020!
Greetings Barthezz Brick
2021 was quite a busy year for me, but surprisingly still ended up being one of my more productive years with regards to LEGO! I ended up completing a total of 27 models, and was able to compete in several contests throughout the year.
At the top of the list is competing in Iron Builder not once, but twice! It was an honor and pleasure to face off against the incredibly talented Jayfa in February/March, and then Dan Ko in November/December. I never really thought I would have the opportunity to compete in even one IB round, so to have participated in 3 now is a bit hard to believe! And I have to say a massive thank-you to everyone who commented on builds or sent me messages throughout all of my time competing. It truly means a lot! And also a massive thank-you to Markus and Simon for doing all the behind the scenes work to make this competition possible!
As always, running the Summer Joust with Isaac and many other friends from the LEGO community was another highlight of the year. Not only did we have a record number of entries this year, but the quality was astonishing as well! It's so inspiring to see what all of you create.
Competing in the RogueOlympics for the first time was also super fun - It was one of, if not the first time I had competed in a contest with a piece limitation. I didn't expect to want to jump right into another competition after having just finished an IB round, but it proved to be really enjoyable challenge, and pushed me to build a bit differently than I was used to.
After several years, it was also so much fun to finally be able to complete a couple collabs with Isaac, and I'm already looking forward to when we are able to do another.
Overall I think this was probably my most diverse year when it comes to building - I dabbled a bit in sci-fi, steampunk, brick-built animals, life-size replicas, vehicles, microscale, characters, constraction, and even a little bit of video and stop motion (which gave me even more awe and respect for those who do stop-motion films :D).

Thank you all for continuing to inspire me through your incredible creations and for your support on all of my builds :)
Would love to hear if you had a favorite model!
My fourth Lego year (2020) has come to an end. Not what I expected from this year in terms of fun, holidays and doing thing with friends/family.. That horrible covid-19 pandemic 😞. I hope we can leave it behind us in 2021!
Talking about LEGO; I'm not the fastest builder out there.. So I don't know what 2021 will bring in terms of LEGO but i'm always in for an adventure!
Know that i'm still hard at work to finally finish my Venice Italy moc. I won't give myself a deadline, but you will see it when it's done ☺️
Also thx for alle the comments, feedback, laughs, cries & support i got the past years!
I wish you all the best, Lego-wise and especially personally, for 2021!
Stay safe and healthy 🙌
BFVA this year was probably the most fun I've had all summer long, I got to see old buddies of mine and made some new friends along the way, not to mention some of the sweet loot I got.
Overall, I would thank all of the peeps I've tagged that made this Brickfair pretty great (if I forgot to tag you to this pic, I apologize for that).
I went to brickfair and well it was amazing met a lot of people might post some more loot but yeah i might be a little inactive still, school started you know.
Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed my work this year
I made 16 builds this year that can all be seen in this album
While this year has been a bit rough, we've made it through!
First off, to check off last year's goals...
1. I've collaborated with 4 different builders
2. Began sorting my collection
3. Been featured on Brickvault and TBB many times
4. Gotten up to 400 followers (566 at the moment!)
5. and continued making builds that I've had fun with and am proud of.
Over the course of the year,
I made over 20 MOCs and Figbarfs
Collaborated with 4 builders (Dan The Fan, KitKat1414, and mbricks52 during the Summer Joust and aggressively_Canadian during the RL KaW collab)
Got accepted into RebelLug
Stopped building SW and began to build castle and fantasy (and I don't think I'm going back any time soon :D)
And of course, made lots of new friends in the community.
Lastly, I've tagged builders who have inspired my throughout this year.
Great year to be sure! Participated in Iron Forge, Space Jam 2020, Summer Joust 2021. Built a micro Vic Viper and Dark Times RPG sig-fig scene! "Samurai's House" as my 1st Flickr 100-fave post!
Turning point in June: joining Builder Improvement Initiative . Received a lot of feedback! Thank you so very much for that! Pleasant chats (Discord) in SaltyBros, Builder Improvement Initiative and my personal server. Improved a lot this year! People tagged in this post have helped me a lot and supported me! Happy new year!
A few of my moc highlights for 2020. Thank you for all the comments and feedback. I love hearing your thoughts on how I could improve my builds. See you next year for even more cool stuff...

If you're into Star Wars lego, you should check out our Factions RPG. It is super fun, and we would love to have you onboard!
Happy New Year! 🎉
BFVA was an absolute blast. It was my first year going, but it definitely won’t be my last. Got to meet a bunch of friends who I’ve known for a while, and met so many new people. This was such a great experience. I tagged a bunch of people who I met, although some quite briefly, and I wish that I spoke to more people than I did, but there’s always next year.
Also big thanks to caleb for organizing Lundy’s Lane.
Sorry if I forget to tag you, its been a long day
My resin year in review. I really thought I was going to do better and purchase less this year..........
Wow, what a weekend!
For starters, I really want to thank my friends for hanging out with me and tolerating my occasional idiocy! I also made a few new friends along the way! Tagged are those awesome peeps!
I was also able to expand my proto collection a bit! I'll post a pick!

Brahm: Where do I begin? Honestly, too much great stuff happened for me to remember it all, but I will bestow a title on you that will last a while: Chip Ninja
It was also cool to talk with you! We have a lot in common(Right?)
Andrew: It was cool to officially meet you and hang out a bit!
Thanks for for showin' me your awesome proto collection!

Sean Ben: It was neat to meet you and spend a bit of time with you! Thanks for not cussing when we were hanging out!
I forgot to post the best thing of all: The Lando pin!
Proto pic coming soon!
God Bless,
Henry
P.S. Tag yourself if we talked!
Hey guys, so this is about everything I got at WWB MN 2015! I had an awesome time meeting up with all my bros and having great time. The collab that I took to WWB turned out great, we didn't receive a trophy, but we did get runner up for public favorite! I would really like to thank all of our awesome sponsors, especially MinifigRus, for sending us double the sponsorship. Please go check him and all of our sponsors out. Getting to the loot, I did a lot of trading with Will, several of these items are gifts. Therefore if there is frequent questions of trading you will be disliked. All in all, thanks guys for an epic year, and I hope to see you at Anaheim and Minneapolis next year!
Not so prolific, compared to other years, but then, a lot of projects involving bricks were not mocs and weren't shared on any kind of social media. So in the end, 2015 was a good year.
Here's my collage for the third cycle of the A-Z Doll Photography Challenge
Every time is a very pleasure to join in this amazing Challenge! Leslie and Audra make always a great job and they made me to try to create a photo for each theme, this was a great journey and I hope that the Challenge will back soon! I’m sorry for my terrible English, but I vould like to say a big “thank you” to Leslie And Audra and to all the participants at this amazing Challenge. for the interesting insights they gave to me and for the wonderful photos they took, a very source of inspiration for me. A big hug and...we will see soon at the next cycle right?

My second Lego year (2018) has come to an end. I want to thank everyone for their amazing support!
I've met some great people in person. It has been truly amazing to meet you all and get to know you. I also want to thank all the talented builders i've met online, thx!
2019 will be another great LEGO year with some cool plans and builds i'm working on.
Happy New Year!!
Greetings Barthezz Brick
2018 is coming to an end and I want to thank everyone for making it such a great year. Especially I want to thank all the people I've met in person. It has been truly amazing to get to meet you all and get to know you. I've had so much fun and I can't wait for new projects and conventions in 2019. Cheers!
Well ... Another year and another questionable LEGO build year....
This year was particularly different in that I started SO late for Brickworld building - usually it starts with Drones in Jan and dives right into collabs, but this year with work and things it just wasn't clicking and I really didn't start till late April - ... but what a start ...
Thank you to Nick Brick for the kick start - his idea of the 'Replica Collab' was so idioticlly fun that it was what I needed to start <3
The original build - not pictured here - was the 3x2 foot Deployable Shield that blocks door in the game Rainbow Six Siege. The idea of building a giant thing to block the entry way to GamerLUG table was just so stupidly funny.... Even more silliness was to basically build the giant box for the sole purpose to hide t-shirts to hand out - much like the Rook's in game ability... and it was just so much fun that we kept snowballing with one of the most fun guns I've built - the P90 and the FMG9, and an additional gadget to finish off Alec's Jager loadout.
It's rare that I build at life size scale, so this was a definitely weird that I didn't just build one thing, but built 7 life size replicas (including Summer's laser blasters for KC Lab's full size Rick and Morty Garage monstrosity).
Throw in a Warthog, Rex-Zilla, a trophy scale Fallout Shelter and a army of baby mech's with Alec it actually turned out to be a pretty great Brickworld showing for me, despite the crunched time...
And what a Brickworld! Pre-Brickworld was great with EscapeLUG hitting up Micah, Alec, and JohnK's LEGOtories and escaping all but one room.... Sickworld was also amazing, despite almost causing a significant portion of the AFOL population to almost die from Flu or worse.... but it was still an amazing time - SimonGames stands out as a particular bright spot - being able to see OrphanLUG, GamerLUG, RebelLUG and InnovaLUG do some 'friendly' Competition...
The fast builds continued well into the summer - with a super fun collab with Alec and Micah for the Summer Joust - one of these days I'll do castle - and continued with the inspiration to do a Sci-Fi contest based on this amazing contest: Space JAM! ... but even before that I had a concept I've been dying to get done ... GRID WARS contest...
All of this was pretty much between April-Aug ... and then my Achilles Heel: SHIPtember ... which just crushed me and I couldn't actually hit the 100 stud or produce something worthwhile ... which has dragged my extended drought for the rest of the year....
.... but 2019 is off to a decent start. Thanks again to Alec for letting me play at his place, there's a start of a new collab for BW.... there's SIMON CON in Toronto in August ... and I already refurb'd rebuilt my Minifig Fallout Shelter for show ....
Here's hoping for a better year! And thanks for everyone in the community that makes this place so special.
You know, technically, I'm not as late as last year. Just two days ago was Lunar New Year, the Chinese aesthetic of which inspired this theme (I've also been playing a bit of Overwatch...). I actually kept up better than I thought I did. 21 "official" MOCs in total (I had 25 last year). If you want to take a closer look at some of my builds of the last year, click the links below to see the albums.

After two years of planning and preparation, we were finally able to make it to Brickworld! And boy was it worth it!
Isaac and I got to meet loads of people we had only known online before, and reconnect with others we had only met a few times.
Chris Maddison, Random Vector, Tyler Clites, Nannan Z, Gabe Umland, Kristel, Tim Lydy, Mark Larson, Jonas Wide, ZCerberus, Rogue Angel, MKJoshA, KevinyWu, BricksmithPhilip, Phred, Mark of Falworth, Brother Steven, Andrew JN, David FNJ, Paul Vermeesch, Ian Spacek, Lee Muzzy, Matthew Oh, Noel Peterson, Paul Wolfe, Cody Purviance, Michael the Juggler, Garmadon, Kai NRG, Nick Jensen, BrickinNick, Graeme Diamond, Dan Church, Rocco, Markus Rollbuhler, Micah Beiderman, Grant Davis, Barbara Hoel, Simon Liu, Ty S, Kingdomviewbricks, -carrier lost, thropots, Detroitika, Ben Ellermann, Guy Himber; and inevitably we will have missed some people we got to hang out with.
KevinyWu, Micah Beiderman, Kingdomviewbricks, Ty S, Markus Rollbuhler, Nick Jensen, Barbara Hoel, Carrier Lost, Thropots, Detroitika:
It was great getting to see some of yours builds in person, and being able to talk with all of you.
Kristel, Tim, Mark, Jonas, Kevin, Josh, Philip, Ben, and the rest of the Eurobricks team:
Thank you so much for letting us contribute to the Eurobricks display this year, and for putting up with our inexperience when it comes to attaching the underside to a floating build! It was an enormous amount of fun hanging out with all of you, and admiring your outstanding builds. I look forward to getting to know all of you better in the future.
Simon:
The Simon Games were definitely one of the highlights of the convention for me, not only did they provide a great challenge for the LUGs competing, it also was a fabulous way to get to know and talk with lots of other builders. So I just want to say thank you for all you do for the LEGO community, and hopefully we’ll see you again in 2020!
BrickinNick and Graeme:
You guys are just nuts. Really. Building an entire broadcasting studio on site (not to mention the little playhouse!), and then using it for 3 whole BotB episodes?! I’m very glad you did though, it was so much fun watching the builders live, and you did a fantastic job, as always, being host. The carnival game was a blast as well, I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
Chris, Sean, Tyler, and Nannan:
First off, I just want to say thank you again for taking us all out to breakfast, it was delicious! Besides the food though, it was wonderful getting to talk and hangout with some of the best builders out there (cough, and beat some of them in a building competition, cough). Whether it was playing soccer and Frisbee in the scorching sun, competing in the Simon Games, or just hanging out, I had a blast. I look forward to BW 2020 so we can do it all over again! (okay, we don’t have to do it all over again. I could do without the 90 degree weather…)
Mark, Steven, Andrew, David, Jason, Ian, Paul V., Lee, Noel, Paul W., Cody, Michael, Mr. Gomez, Isaiah, Geneva:
I’m so glad we had the opportunity to interact with all of you as much as we did. Whether it was being double crossed in a Nerf fight, driving to the convention hall, enjoying the delicious cooking, shopping at Walmart at midnight, or just chilling out and talking, it was so incredible getting to build relationships with each of you. I sincerely hope we are able to have just as much fun in 2020.
Kevin, Ben, Philip, Geneva, Isaiah, Jonas:
Great to be able to meet quite a few fellow Guild members in person, and we’re looking forward to Book III! And also to seeing some Castle builds from Ben again :D
Go to Brickbuilt for some pictures from our trip, as well as Isaac's recap.
I couldn't have made it without you, my F.R.I.E.N.D.s!! Thank you all so much!
