2022 was a pretty quiet year for me, LEGO-wise. That being said, I was still very happy to be able to complete 2 more collabs with Isaac, as well as participate in both the CCC and Brickscalibur. Perhaps the highlight of the year though was being involved with the Symphony of Construction collaboration. Was amazing seeing and hearing what all the other collaborators had created! And my own contribution was certainly one of my most ambitious builds to date (I don't know exactly how much the finished model ended up weighing, but it was pretty difficult to pick up!)

And of course, as always, it was fantastic to help organize the Summer Joust. It might seem like it would get repetitive doing it year after year, but every time I'm amazed by the creativity and quality of the entries!

Despite not building/posting as much this past year, I do still regularly check in to see all the fantastic models you guys are posting. Hard to say if I'll be able to build more in 2023 or not, but hopefully can still get out several throughout the year.

Would love to hear if you had a favorite of my models this year :)

Hooray! Anyone who follows my photostream and the activities of feeding birds, mostly native Australian cockatoos called Galahs will know that we have our favourites, those amongst the number we identify by name because of their special visual or behavioural characteristics and/or we are able to feed by hand.

Pretty well at the top of that special heap are Wingman (front) and Mrs W (Wingman) who have been very regular visitors for three years now. Jenny got this shot this morning and we were over the moon to see him as we thought we had lost him.

Firstly, to recap, his name is Wingman (one day I will tell the long story about that name), because he has two bad wings, you can see the worst one, the right wing, that diminish his ability to fly as well as these birds can. They are masters. He has trouble getting lift and always flies in stages. He is married to Mrs W as they mate for life. He is a wonderful husband and partner, and up until more recent times they have always come together and go to the same location where they get their very own food dish which he protects like a gladiator.

In more recent times, they have been arriving up to four times per day.

And then about a week ago, nothing! We saw her a couple of times but not Wingman and we were terribly worried that we had lost him. I in particular have been devastated, as you may have guessed, I love them both dearly. Then yesterday, we thought we saw him arrive but not come down from the power lines over the back. And then finally this morning, he returned...oh what a relief. And during the busy morning, they returned several times. Oh, what a feeling indeed. We suspect they had kids this year and the change in behaviour has been mostly driven by the needs of nesting, fledging and being good parents.

For my first convention, it was a blast. As for the build, I procrastinated a bunch on the middle building, but overall the diorama pleases me very much.

It was super rad meeting everyone who is tagged below, and we are planning on doing something next year (hint - hint). I helped Elijah put grass on his build for about an hour :D

I got my hands on some nice items by trading and such, and an abundance of memes were passed around. Sprue, mongolian, the free build section, and others in which we do not utter here.

I hope to see some more of you guys next year!!!!!!!!

What a year!

I was finally able to finish my Venice 1486 diorama and released it on a venue in Belgium. That was an amazing & fun weekend!

In skaerbaek i was able to meet some online friends for the first time and speak with everyone in person. Thx again for the great weekend guys!

I also made some fun tutorials and moved into my new Lego room. Now i have all the space i need and more..

Not the fastest builder out there, but I'm very pleased with the mocs I've made this year.

Last but not least: The Lego community is still the best community in the world and i always enjoy seeing all those amazing mocs people make every year 🙌

I wise you all a safe and peaceful new year and we see each other in 2023!

Best Brick yet. I would do it day by day but it's mostly a blur. From all the new people I became friends with like Jonah, Rex, Jake, Matt, Peter, Carter, Cody and Jeff to hanging out again with the boys Brandon, Yasser, Rob, Greg, Nathaniel, Caden and Caleb. All the trades and crazy stupid fast food runs to introduce Rex to fine American dining. Not to mention Cody's moding workshop. This year remains unmatched. This year saw the birth of the red rocket bois and many more memes to spam the Flickr (and now Instagram, follow me) comments section. I just want to thank all the new and old friends for an awsome 5 days and I can't wait for next year!

I'd like to say my 2016 was really good, it had its ups and downs but more good things happened rather than bad.

When 2016 started I never thought I would be where I am today and I'd like to say thank you to every single one of my followers for an amazing experience this past year. I've made a lot of friends and have improved a lot.

This year overall I have made around 33 figs, not counting WIPs and they've all turned out amazing! Guess I'll list my top 10 figs.

In no particular order we have, Kat, X-01, Kenny, Impa, Deadpool, Ulssyes, ORAS Trainer, Benny, Toon Link, and James or TheOdd1sOut. If you have a favorite custom of mine let me know in the comments below!

I hope I'll stay for as long as I can, as this community let's me be myself and is just amazing!

So yeah that's pretty much it! I've tagged inspirations and friends! Hope everyone has a Happy New Year and 2017!

It was a good year.

I am very pleased with what we have managed to build over the past year. A lot of funny things, several models with instructions, a collaboration with a friend for Summer Joust, and I even managed to win a prize at VignWeek!

There are even several models on the collage that I didn't post here, for example, an alternative bird model for the 31173 set.

Next year will be better!

Well, another WWB went by. This was the first one that I went to that wasn't in Minneapolis, so a change was nice. I flew out Thursday after school and got there pretty late that night. I'll do like a day by day break down below.

Friday: Woke up at like 4 and 6am cause of the time difference, so I didn't sleep too well. Miciah met me at my room at 8:45 and we got my plates and stuff and headed downstairs. I saw Andrew and met Brahm when we got there, and we soon started setting up Luzon. Went over and talked to Will a bit, but didn't get to see (most of) the stuff that he brought to trade or whatever until later that night/Saturday morning. Brought back some burgers and ate while assembling more of the collab. Sean showed up and I messed with him for a while. By the afternoon Brahm became a part of the collab and helped us out everything together. By the time of the Brickarms presentation, we were probably 90-95% done with Luzon. Ended up leaving around ten since my mom was pissed at me for not answering my phone/texts lmao

Saturday: Tired af when I got up. Met the guys down by the collab and put on the final touches. We ended up changing a good amount of stuff that really helped make the build look and feel much more realistic and logical. Added stuff like the boarder and fixed the positioning of the Americans. This will be explained when the collab pics go up. Logan showed up and a lot of fun chilling with him on and off the rest of the con. We spent a lot it time modding stuff since we had everything finished and ended up having a "workshop" on Sunday. Talked to Will more and got a lot of cool stuff, either from gifts or trades. Saturday went by extremely fast, probably the most out of the 3 days.

Sunday: kinda sad that it was the last day cause I had to leave at like 2 :/ but it was great to see that we got an award. Pretty much spent the morning chillin with the bois by Luzon and talking to the public. By about noon we started breaking stuff down and dividing the sponsorship items up, took a long ass time lmao. After everything got packed up I headed over to talk to Will to say goodbye and stuff, got some final things, then said the goodbyes to the people I could find lol. Sucked to leave at 2.

Had the absolute pleasure of staying at solacespringsspasl this Monday that just passed and I must say; it’s a real treat for anyone who enjoys the little activities Second Life has to offer.

The staff goes absolutely above and beyond with their charisma and welcoming aura and seem overall super engaged and actually interested in what they’re doing. I had the pleasure of meeting Laura herself and she is nothing less of an absolute sweetheart. You can tell her and Kylan put so much love and thought into the entire project; it’s gorgeous.

The activities were very immersive, unique and enjoyable, but my personal highlight believe it or not was my suite; mind you I went on a whole expensive ass vacation, and I feel like this room I’m showing yall here was better 😂 my pictures barely do justice. Please do take time to check them out and consider booking with them. For those who really enjoy the roleplay aspect of SL, youll adore it and I definitely plan on returning. Thank you again to Laura and Kylan for reaching out to me to be apart of such a beautiful experience. 💕

First off, BFVA was absoultely amazing.

I had the awesome opportunity to meet so many Flickr friends and buddies, which is quite a long list:

Of course, the Narva boys: Mj, Grant, Greg, Ccaleb, Nick, and Garett from The Minifig Co.;

the dudes from the Hue City collab: James, Brandon, Tyler, Simon, Spencer

(don't forget to hmu if any of you have CB grunt torsosszz) and Iain, Caden, and Yasser; as well as many of the contributors for Bastogne: Ethan, Eliott, Toby, Greg (the small one), Hunter, Papa Cheet, Sam, Max, Mason, and Robbie;

It was super fun participating in the Narva collab and helping with the Siege if Bastogne.

It was my first time attending BFVA, and God willing it won't be my last

[Disclaimer: It very well could have been, I nearly broke my back in the bounce house XD]

But overall, it was really such a blast as well as a growing experience, learning from so many talented and skilled builders.

I really can't wait for the epicc stuff the future and BFVA 2k18 holds, all I know is that it'll be just that: Epic.

Wow.. That flew by, words can't express how great of an experience that was.

I left on weds night, and got into Cali pretty late. The next morning my grandpa and me made a plan to go all over California that day (not to mention I've never been to California before). The first thing we did was go to this really cool bakery called "Helms Bakery" my grandpa really wanted to go there because he has the same last name. After that, we went to Beverly Hills. You would not believe some of the HUGE houses up there. Throughout the whole day, we went through Long Beach, Santa Ana, Santa Monica, LA, and Malibu. Malibu beach was beautiful, it was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. After Malibu, we went up to The Reagan Presidential Library. The Library was incredible, and I learned a lot about the importance of our 40th President. That was almost the end of our day considering traffic back to the hotel took over 2 1/2 hours. For dinner that night we went to this really good Italian restaurant called Cortinas, we loved it.

Starting the next day, was the first day of the convention, and in my opinion probably the best. The very first thing I did was meet up with Michael at his hotel room and help him carry his part from Luzon to the con. That whole day we set up Luzon, and it turned out to be awesome and we even received an award for (Best Use of Brickarms) That day I met up with Michael, Andrew, Brahm, Logan, Jasper, Henry, and Sean.

Sat-Sun were quite similar, it consisted of Modding, Fixing up minor issues with luzon, Painting and hanging with friends.

Sunday, was quite sad because we had to take apart Luzon and I wouldn't be seeing some of my best friends for quite a long time.

Overall, I really enjoyed California and would like to go back sometime soon. As for WWB, It was great, the only thing that would have made it better was Citizen brick attending. Other than that, It was great to meet up with some of my best friends, Michael and Andrew, and meet some in person for the first time, Logan, Brahm, Jasper, and Henry. It was a great experience and hope to make many more.

Wow, 2014 went by fast!

A lot of things happened. I joined flickr altough i've been here before waaay back in the day (2011-2012). I made a lot of new friends, built a lot of vehicles...oh wait, i haven't ( i've made like 4 XD). My german army went from 0 to 15 figs! I guess i have to get some allied resistance. But anyways i'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who has commented, faved and supported me and my photos.

Here's to another year, 2015 here we come!

We've once again reached the new year, so it's time to look back at what I've done this year. It's gone by so quickly, hasn't it?

As always, I've tagged a bunch of builders who have inspired me throughout this last year.

I started the year off by participating in the annual Iron Forge, placing in the top 8 as I faced off against the one and only ForlornEmpire. It was a true honor to compete against Eli, and I absolutley loved to see him compete in IB again just earlier this month. I'm hoping to compete in IF again in 2023, and I can't wait to see who else manages to compete!

After IF, I began experimenting with a new color scheme, untilizing old purple, one of my favorite LEGO colors. I ended up with this Bard's Cottage, in which I tried out a bunch of new geometric techniques. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on it along the way!

In June, I began working with my collab team from last year (KitKat1414, mbricks52, and Dan The Fan) on a new series of builds for the Summer Joust. We created four builds focusing on an elderly gnome who created a magnificent feast for his woodland neighbors. We ended up winning the Exotic Feast collab category this year, which was super exciting!

After I began building for the collab, I travelled to Chicago to attend my first convention, Brickworld Chicago. I had a blast displaying with RebelLug, participating in the Simon/Markus games, putting together a bunch of Si-MOCs's models, and so much more. It was awesome to meet so many builders there! I'm looking forward to attending next June, I can't wait to see what new memories we can make together!

Although I haven't posted anything recently, I've still been building, slowly. Hopefully Brickscalibur and Iron Forge can get me back into the swing of things!

And that's a wrap on 2022! It was a year with lots of new builds, especially after I completed my degree in the earlier part of the year. Several good builds not making it on the collage, but lots of stuff I'm very proud of, my first SHIPtember, first time making it on to The Brothers Brick, and lots of sci-fi. Hoping to build more fantasy in the new year and expand my horizons!
