I recently realized it was possible to connect an espresso plate 32828 to a bar with prongs 68211 through its Ø1,5mm hole, and thought it would be a good starting point to build a tree.

Only four different elements are required, so it's a quite simple design, but the end result looks pretty good and natural in my opinion. However it's a tad fragile as it's based on a delicate way of attaching the parts so you have to be careful when you build it.

I used tan elements for the trunk and branches but reddish brown and black can be used as well.

Panhard VBL

This model is a commission for @velk413

The VBL is a french armoured 4x4 vehicle from the 1990's used as a liaison and reconnaissance vehicle.

Different versions were built for various missions, all are still in use today.

The version I've made here is the regular version equipped with a light machinegun.

All the doors and hatches can open, it even has room for the crew inside !

I wanted to make a micro version of the Forgotten Temple as well as make instructions for it. The instructions are free on my rebrickable page (link in bio) So if you want to make this or the Micro Hunters Dream for yourself you can. If you are just curious to see how they go together you are more than welcome to take a look.

I do want to make instructions more often for my builds but they do take a lot longer to finish and test. I also like to use odd pieces in my builds that aren’t available digitally which limits a lot of options for making builds, so unfortunately I won’t make instructions for every build I post.

I’m wanting to make micro versions of every show build I make because I have to take them apart pretty quickly afterwards and the shows are pretty much the only time I get to see them fully assembled. I do like to keep little souvenirs from the show builds but a tiny version is a nice little display piece to act as a reminder of what I have made. Who knows maybe after 50 years I can just display the micro builds instead…

Complete rebuild of my 2017 SHIPtember build.

Structural integrity has been improved and details have been made more accurate.

I made this little chibi-version of Hollow Knight a few years ago after my first playthrough of the game.

At the time, I had posted the model on Rebrickable and it was promptly stolen by a non-scrupulous chinese company that started selling it on some site (not going too post it here!).

I have no idea if the set was ever successful or not (maybe they sold millions of it!) but I decided to take it all as a compliment rather than being mad about something I could not do anything about.

Anyway, long story short - to celebrate the release of Silksong, I decided to revamp the model a little by adding a few new pieces and also I made new more polished building instructions... which are now available FOR FREE on Rebrickable.

KITT vs KARR Instructions are up: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-50444/Flashback_Bricks/kitt-vs-k...

It's a two-for-one sale! Recreate your favorite scenes from Knight Rider with this set that pits the heroic KITT (the prototype of the car of the future) against the evil KARR (the prototype of the prototype of the car of the future...it's a long story).

Both six-stud wide cars feature opening doors and carry one minifigure (although they don't need one, they can drive themselves). Instructions build KITT in his Super Pursuit Mode, but he's easily reconfigured into his standard mode, or drop the top and let Michael Knight cruise around in convertible style.

Scaling down the droideka to accurate minifig-scale opened up the possibility of using the 8x8 Windscreen Domes, which are the largest windscreen domes, as the iconic force-fields of the droideka. With the droideka standing at 6 studs, 8x8 is the perfect size sphere to envelope the droid correctly. Embedding it into the ground proved to be quite the tricky challenge actually, as I wanted the ground internally to match the external ground level, and also have a tight fit around the shield, which much to my surprise is 1 plate not spherical as the domes aren't actually perfect semi-spheres. This lead to a ring and inner ring that doesn't have a top or bottom, as the studs on it face up in 4 different directions like the blades of a windmill, and an interesting and fun internal build to match up all the turns and offsets.

The floor was also a tricky component of the build, as the curvature of the domes at the low point is pretty high so even a 2 plate thick design would have pushed the ground up too high.

Happy with the end result as gaps are almost exclusively the thickness of the shield itself and it works well from any angle.

A variant of my LL-926, fully updated using mostly modern parts (e.g. light bluish gray), and every part is easily available and cheap on bricklink. I finally caved to requests and made instructions for the first time - a fascinating process! It has a fully detailed underside, functional landing gear, a moveable hatch, rear ramp and transport buggy which fits neatly inside, and is fully swooshable!

(even if you don't purchase would help me out if you take a look, and maybe even like/comment on Rebrickable as that lets it get more visible)

Have fun!

In 1933, British coachbuilder Park Ward turned Bugatti’s 4th Type 41 rolling chassis into a grand limousine.

The model’s size is about 1:25, following the Packard Prototype and Kellner & Cie. Coupé

Instructions Available HERE for the Chocobo and carriage.

Cloud and Aerith see Tifa, in a Chocobo carriage, being taken to Don Corneo. Cloud wants to rescue her, but Tifa convinces him that she will be able to gain valuable intel this way. Aerith later convinces Cloud to continue on to Wall Market and sneak into Don Corneo's to help aid Tifa yet still give them a chance at the intel.

This is one of the few times I have gone back and revisited the same subject in a build. The original version was built in a few hours in 2020 for Day 2 of Rebellug's Vignette Week Contest.

I have since seen the original carriage available for sale from knockoff companies who stole my design. At first I thought about making instructions available for my original design, but I quickly realized that I might as well update it. This new version is much more accurate and proportionally correct. It has a full interior and benefits significantly from the extra design time. Instructions available on Rebrickable.

Minifigure-scale droideka.

Here they all are, my micro scale Star Wars Fleet, 2021 class photo. All of the ships are as close to 1:250 scale as I could make them, some are a bit chunky or a stud too long or short, but overall they’re mostly strong builds that are hopefully recognisable. I’ve used common parts wherever possible and I’ve published instructions for everything on Rebrickable…

It’s been a much slower year than 2020, I finished my to-do list back in May, but I still have a few ideas to immortalise in Studio and I’m also going to try to some more interesting action shots next year. Until then, may the Force be with you!

The TIE/D Defender is an advanced experimental TIE starfighter from Sienar Fleet Systems, armed to the teeth with four laser cannons, two ion cannons, two warhead launchers, and a hyperdrive. It's know for it's agility and ferocity both in looks and performance.

This UCS-style TIE Defender is mini-fig scale and is based on the most common depictions of the defender in various sources. The model features a cockpit with controls that can seat a tie pilot. The bottom hatch opens for the restocking of missiles, maintenance, and refueling the hyperdrive. The top hatch also opens as does the front (pilot is put in through the front). The focus on accuracy and aesthetics means this is a delicate display model not for play. To the best of my knowledge, doesn't use any illegal techniques which would stress pieces.

This 110-part model measures a dinky 4x14 studs (11 cm long) and will cost ~£7 on BrickLink.

You can even include Wilfred Walrus, or any other Minifigure, behind the captain’s wheel.

I’m so happy to say the original micro model I designed and built last December is now with my Fabufriend Robin Hull and his 100% complete Fabuland collection, it’s epic!

My 'Maid of Fabuland' ship was installed at the Lego House in September 2024. It will be on display for a whole year, do let me know if you’ve seen it!

A highly modified S-100 Stringer-class Starfighter by Rees Serifa's engineers.

Named Vengeance after Rees Serifa joined the Rebellion. Having a life support system, hyperdrive, two X-Wing Laser cannons but boosted for a higher fire rate, two mid-frontal laser cannons, and three powerful engines to bring vengeance swiftly to the enemy.

Serifa was a Pirate Leader who lost her crew to the Empire while she was fighting another Pirate group in the outer rim.

While the pirate group the Empire arrived with its forces above Zeffo and destroyed her cruiser with all hands lost.

The arriving Empire forces didn't know about the conflict between the pirate groups, they were sent to Zeffo to pick up artifacts and to do research. Finding the Cruiser there was a surprise, they knew it was owned by pirates so there was no hesitation in destroying it.

The rest of the forces were mostly lost on Zeffo and she had to retreat.

She pledged to avenge her people and destroy the Empire but with her small squadron of only 3 Starfighters and 2 Snubfighters, it was a difficult task to complete.

She looked to recruit people to her cause but since the Empire was putting terror in people's hearts she was having a hard time getting the numbers to rise anywhere.

After continued raids against small pockets of Empire forces her forces dwindled down to 3 Starfighters, her included. Her vengeance started to look weak.

One day she repelled the Empires forces attacking a damaged Rebel Cruiser, the Captain of the Cruiser asked her to escort them back to the Rebel base. The Rebel Commander offered her to join them and so Rees Serifa and her two companions became the famous Death Squadron of the Rebel Forces.

Seeing her team's amazing skills they decided to supply Serifa's companions with two M52X Starfighters. She was given the title Captain of the Death Squadron which put fear into the Empire's Heart every time they so that black and yellowed wings Starfighter.

I’m almost done with the Tantive IV instructions now, but since I started watching Rebels again I couldn’t resist a Phoenix Squadron get together!
