My Midi-Scale TIE collection expands again with a new TIE starfighter: the TIE Striker from Rogue One.
Made of 730 pieces, this TIE Striker features a fully SNOT surface, a smooth cockpit section, and includes blaster cannons below the cockpit. Design-wise, this ship really felt like a natural continuation of my previous TIE Reaper MOC.
Although being almost Minifig-scaled, (hence the Midi-scale) this ship obviously doesn't have any interior due to the techniques used and small space allowed for the internal structure.
Due to the front-heavy nature of the design, a rather long (but very simple) stand had to be made in order for the ship to remain perfectly steady and horizontal.
The overall build is pleasantly sturdy for a display model and can be moved around easily.

The pinnacle of Federation design, The LL-928 Galaxy Explorer lasted generations longer than virtually any other craft. Its combination of speed, power, and adaptability made it not just a perennial favourite amongst Federation pilots, but also a symbol of the Federation's mission as a whole.
Proudly presenting instructions for a studless Galaxy Explorer which you can build at home. Even if you don't buy them, would be a huge hlep to me if you checked them out, and gave them a like and comment. Designed to fit in with my design for the LL-925, it uses 99%+ modern parts, all of them common, so this should be as painless and cheap to put together as possible! It's a light bley version of my LL-929, which is itself an homage to Peter Reid's evergreen LL-497, and has 1212 parts in total. It's *very* sturdy and swooshable!
I built in a lot of play features - working landing gear, a rover which can be contained in the back, swivelling rear doors like the original, and also the original a rear folding hatch, and roof which hinges up.
The village kids love it when horses are stabled at the blacksmith...

See the Castle Chronicle Album for all in the right order.
The tiny village build offers quite a few opportunities for play and images. So far we have an inn, a blacksmith in a market stall and a horse in a stable...
In view of the gloomy days we are having I will need to get some lighting in the village. I already ordered a fire basket from the blacksmith...

"This is where the fun begins!"
My latest ship from the Prequel Trilogy has arrived, and it surely was a lot of fun to make: here's Obi Wan's Eta-2 Actis Interceptor from Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars.
This small unit consists of 281 pieces (stand included), and has one major feature: true Minifig scale!
There's a handful of beautiful MOCs of this ship out there already, but most of them are based on the huge cockpit piece from the playsets, so they're drastically oversized. So here I am with a, dare I say, more accurately scaled version.
It does come with a drawback, you guessed it: you can't put a fig inside. A bit ironic I know, but I chose to go for a brick-built cockpit in order to get as close to the original design as I could, prioritizing accuracy over playability, as usual.
The wings were pretty challenging given the ridiculously small scale, and my goal was to have them as thin as possible without compromising the SNOT look.
I'm quite happy with the result and I think this makes a nice little display piece. It's also very swooshable despite the intricate wing design.
I'm usually not a fan of stickers, but I thought this one deserved some sweet markings. I used the sticker sheet from the playset - it is included in the parts list. The color scheme can be changed to red with only a few part swaps (see last page in the instructions).

So, next airplane, this may is some kind of experiment... My aim was to create something not so smooth this time. And finally, I ended up with some kind of cyberpunk airplane. I definitely broke my rules in some points... but I hope you like it anyway.
You will find some more pics of it in my stream/profile 😊

Instructions for my 3 bigger builds are available on my rebrickable page: rebrickable.com/users/Gubi0222/mocs/
These contains the pdf instructions and xml partslist for them and I also made some updates.
- The V-wing has updated connections for the lower wings. That allows the wings to be bent inwards, the same amount. In one pack you get instructions and partslist for the republic and imperial color variant as well, alongside with the posable display stand.
- The AAT now comes in 4 different color variants: The tan Trade Federation one, the bright blue and grey Battlefront 2 CIS one and 2 dark blue-grey Clone Wars based ones. (Their overall design is based off the cinematic version, but their color scheme are from CW)
- The Ginivex doesn't have any updates, that was already the best I was able to make.
I hope you will enjoy building them and if you would like to get them as complet set, with all the parts needed, then go check davescustoms.shop !

Yes, it's still the falcon...
only some studs bigger than my old model of 2019 but this one comes with a lot updates and features a complete new covering.
It took about 2 years on an off working on this one.
This time I tried to get as close as possible to the circle form
and I tried to close most of the gabs on the covering.
The model features many ucs styled details within a scale that fits on every shelf.
Due to the system scale the proportions are still a bit bulk. therefore it has a full interior!
The model is more strength now. E.g. the cover slices can be fixed in position.
Still this is more a display model than play model.
I tried to built the instructions as much understandable as possible. But as I am a not the best practiced builder, there can be tough sections here and there.
funfacts:
3985 Parts
57x 42 Studs
2.450kg
If you own my moc from 2019 you already have about 60-70% of pieces.
You' ll also get a discount for the new instructions! pm me
Stud.io file on request
also I can share different part lists for the model without interior
or inner structure only if you want to try to build it with your own covering.

I recently realized it was possible to connect an espresso plate 32828 to a bar with prongs 68211 through its Ø1,5mm hole, and thought it would be a good starting point to build a tree.
Only four different elements are required, so it's a quite simple design, but the end result looks pretty good and natural in my opinion. However it's a tad fragile as it's based on a delicate way of attaching the parts so you have to be careful when you build it.
I used tan elements for the trunk and branches but reddish brown and black can be used as well.

I wanted to make a micro version of the Forgotten Temple as well as make instructions for it. The instructions are free on my rebrickable page (link in bio) So if you want to make this or the Micro Hunters Dream for yourself you can. If you are just curious to see how they go together you are more than welcome to take a look.
I do want to make instructions more often for my builds but they do take a lot longer to finish and test. I also like to use odd pieces in my builds that aren’t available digitally which limits a lot of options for making builds, so unfortunately I won’t make instructions for every build I post.
I’m wanting to make micro versions of every show build I make because I have to take them apart pretty quickly afterwards and the shows are pretty much the only time I get to see them fully assembled. I do like to keep little souvenirs from the show builds but a tiny version is a nice little display piece to act as a reminder of what I have made. Who knows maybe after 50 years I can just display the micro builds instead…

I made this little chibi-version of Hollow Knight a few years ago after my first playthrough of the game.
At the time, I had posted the model on Rebrickable and it was promptly stolen by a non-scrupulous chinese company that started selling it on some site (not going too post it here!).
I have no idea if the set was ever successful or not (maybe they sold millions of it!) but I decided to take it all as a compliment rather than being mad about something I could not do anything about.
Anyway, long story short - to celebrate the release of Silksong, I decided to revamp the model a little by adding a few new pieces and also I made new more polished building instructions... which are now available FOR FREE on Rebrickable.
