Today I want to present you a Mini Display-Version of MandoΒ΄s ship.

This is also the first MOC for which I created building instructions. You can get these at rebrickable.com.

I hope you like it.

Best regards

Boba

After some failed attempts at rendering in Blender and Mecabricks I've gone back to Studio. I've made a large curved light panel out of plates using luminous materials, trying to get some kind of natural light effect. Photoshop has helped with the contrast and background.

Instructions for this monstrosity are on Rebrickable...

This model uses techniques Lego wouldn't approve of in their own sets, nothing extremely part stressing but be warned, this is not a simple build by any means. I have tried to provide as detailed instructions as I can to the best of my ability.

Echoes from the time before time. The prophecy of the six heroes is born anew. So fast he moves trough rock and stone.

Built from approximately 80% Lego system, 15% Technic, and using the original Bionicle head piece and mask, the Kanohi Kakama, totalling 358 parts.

Increased limb articulation, with shoulders, slightly bendable knees and elbows. With slight mobility for the waist. The gearbox function has been faithfully recreated and is locked/unlocked via gear (see 2002 Toa Nuva)

Quality renders achieved with Blender, built in stud.io using only pre-existing parts and colors. Build has been tested for viability using a real-life model that was representative of the overall look and structure to avoid issues that may arise with the build. It is relatively strudy but should still be handled with care.

M52X U Wing Starfighter

Instructions on:

rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-161019/alexsimion9/m52x-u-wing/

Part List pdf:

drive.google.com/file/d/1yuE5aX3LqPCQm_3Rq_GebxsY1kyhWxSo...

M52X U Wing Starfighter was created by Incom Corporation soon after the original U Wing was created in order to make it fully focused on combat.

And managed to create a Higley versatile Starfighter that is prone to speed and has the capability to fire its laser cannons even behind it when it is chased by enemy fighters.

The firing mods can be automatically done by the droid or manually by the pilot.

The guns can rotate 360dgrs wherever they are pointed. Empire pilots feared the M52X as it could strike from mid-maneuver during combat.

Where were these Starfighters during the Rebellion? Well, Incom Corporation was only able to produce 100 of them as the manufacturing was sabotaged by Palpatine's agents for good reason.

Some of the 100 M52X Starfighters were spotted at the rim of the galaxy, whoever engaged one in combat against a skilled pilot had a small chance of escaping.

The rebellion only got 40 during the war, used only in the most important of assault operations.

The M52X had no landing gear as it was supplied with an antigravity generator that could keep the ship above ground when stationary a similar technology found in N-1 Starfighter.

'Hey, it's easier then I thought to lift this big weight. Slow but easy...'

'So this contraption can throw big rocks far away?'

'You better believe it Chester...'

I was rather amazed at how well the chains worked on this.

The "Sports Car of the Century" does not only turn heads as having been the fastest production car, it also inspired artists like Andy Warhol in their creations. Besides the openable hood and trunk the model features also the iconic gullwing doors of the original.

Micro R-22 Spearheads, the A-Wing prequel ship from Rebels. I’ve revisited my old A-Wing design and updated the front end, which wasn’t very good, the magic ingredient was skate pieces!

At long last I made some time to build a variant of my Forbidden Valley model, for which free instructions are up at Rebrickable: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-81402/Exetrius/forbiddden-valley.... I did not have every single part of the digital model, so this model has a personal touch.

Overall, I found that the model is sturdy and reasonable stable, which I was most curious about.

This is based on brickhead_07's great version over on Rebrickable. I'll only take credit for the various modifications I made to put enough of my stamp on it to share here.

I've modified the new TIE Bomber set 75347 with some external details, plus a new bomb dropping mechanism. I've also combined pieces from the Bomber and the 2021 TIE Fighter sets (plus extras) to make a similarly scaled TIE Advanced and TIE Fighter. Free instructions are on Rebrickable.

Batmans Tumbler from the Dark Knight trilogy. Man I love this car/tank, as you've probably guessed from the number of times I keep trying to build it.

Can't help but feel like this latest attempt isn't too shabby though. It's got better proportions, particularly wrt wheel sizing, and better detailing than previously. And, yes, it's a bit bigger but it's still close to mini-figure scale, and complements my '89 Batmobile perfectly.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it!

And if you want to build it and own it yourself, the instructions are here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-40543/riskjockey/the-dark-knight...

Made a whole lot of variations of this design, more to come.

The TIE/D Defender is an advanced experimental TIE starfighter from Sienar Fleet Systems, armed to the teeth with four laser cannons, two ion cannons, two warhead launchers, and a hyperdrive. It's know for it's agility and ferocity both in looks and performance.

This UCS-style TIE Defender is mini-fig scale and is based on the most common depictions of the defender in various sources. The model features a cockpit with controls that can seat a tie pilot. The bottom hatch opens for the restocking of missiles, maintenance, and refueling the hyperdrive. The top hatch also opens as does the front (pilot is put in through the front). The focus on accuracy and aesthetics means this is a delicate display model not for play. To the best of my knowledge, doesn't use any illegal techniques which would stress pieces.

Tiny little birds, a Cardinal and a Bluejay, at 16 pieces each standing proud at 11 plates tall.

The team is together! These are my favourites and the ideal of having them on my desk was my motivation for getting into micro Star Wars Lego mocs. Now that my mission is complete I can move on to new hobbies like gardening and knitting and fantasy football... or I could do more micro ships... it’ll probably do the latter. Instructions for all of them and more are on Rebrickable...

rebrickable.com/users/ron_mcphatty/mocs/

This started out as me trying to come up with an idea for the Eurobricks 25 Years of Adventure competition, I was imagining the top of a huge Mesoamerican pyramid emerging from the cloud canopy but it was quickly obvious I didn't have enough bricks to build a 48 x48 square so I had to settle for an update of 5906: Ruler of the Jungle.

I decided to change the original blue to teal, which caused it to look like a Monkie Kid set, but I carried on anyway.

It also looks quite like a build I did in 2015.

Also on Instagram.
