Interplanetary Travel
When I first received the offer of Interplanetary travel, I was quite excited. However, as I thought about this trip, a tremendous fear began to grip my body. This fear had grown to such an extent that it almost took over my entire body. It was a feeling of dread of the unknown. When I thought of myself alone in the unknown, the feeling of fear began to give way to worry. During this space travel, I started to think about all the bad scenarios that could happen to me. It was as if my thoughts were trying to dissuade me from this interplanetary journey. But all these negative thoughts encouraged me even more to go on this trip. The fear of the unknown made me even more curious about this trip. The fear and anxiety that surrounded my body could not stop me. Perhaps, at that time, my desire to escape from reality encouraged me to take this trip. So that I could get away from the real pain I was going through. All my pain would remain on planet Earth. I would be reborn in the dark void of space. All the facts that would affect my life would remain in the Earth's atmosphere. Thus, I would be able to continue living without the facts that could affect my life and perhaps end my life. That's how it happened. After leaving the atmosphere of planet Earth, a deep numbness filled my entire body. In time, I started to come to life again in that endless darkness and unmatched silence. As I progressed through deep space, my thoughts began to disappear.. I found myself in a deep nothingness. This nothingness kept me focused on my goal. Now I had only one purpose. Finding life!

sam and i hung out the other night and spent a few hours walking those mysterious dead highway ramps, the lonely stillborns of bad urban planning. we explored their sad dynamic of contradiction. the herculean weeds pressing towards rebirth, the rotting artifacts. like the contents of donald spear’s wallet including his ymca membership card, due to expire in ’94. the full set of rusting brakes. the shredded kite. surely these pieces of road come alive late at night, with the ghosts of the maybes and the almosts. invited guests are all the cars who never made it past the prototype room. and anyone who ever picnicked in no man’s land. and all the donalds who officially lost their identification somewhere around ’93, but never really had a clue as to who they were supposed to be in the first place.
Rejoice in your soul.

Rock Raiders: Rebirth
Finally added the finishing touches to this figbarf. If you guessed it was Rock Raiders, bravo to you.
I took a bit of a different route with the original set theme and added alien characters instead of the team being all human.
The idea of a more diverse group of explorers just seemed more fitting. As with other themes it's always been a 'Human Vs aliens' idea. But themes like life on Mars showed a more interesting and harmonious dynamic. It also gave me more freedom when designing the minifigures.
The overall look is rather gritty and punk like. Keeping some of the original colour schemes added a nice bit of vibrance.
I also to a leaf out of Brickstudios' book by creating some props and objects and also experimenting with classic minifigure faces for the human characters.
My parents and I went to the beach for an impromptu photoshoot on Sunday, and the storm clouds and waves were incredible! I got about 15 minutes of shooting in before lightning started coming down and we ran off.
This is also the first self-portrait uploaded since I chopped mah hair off haha.

A deep silence remained from the day. I say deep because it was a silence that got deeper as time progressed. I found myself in the presence of this ever-deepening silence. It was as if my body, which had become silent as time passed, turned into a dead body. It was as if my soul had left my body, but my body had continued to live biologically. I was not feeling anything emotional. Losing my senses allowed me to carry out my space mission without thinking about the possibility of returning for a long time. Thanks to my loss of human feelings, I have discovered many planets suitable for human life. I had been successful in my space mission. So, have I been successful in my own life? I'm alone in the dark space of space. Many people say that a real success is to have a happy family. According to this situation, we cannot say that I am a successful person. The only thing I succeeded in was finding the habitable planets I needed to find on my space travel. I guess I've had a pretty unsuccessful life as a person. My loneliness is the biggest proof of this. After my age, it is very unlikely that I will return to the world and start life again. Even if I could go back to earth, it seems too far away for me to make new friends, fall in love again, and start a family. Maybe I should go off course, disrupt all of my spacecraft's electronics and get lost forever in the deep darkness of space. I must create my own ending or beginning.
