the crushing reality is, I have become the first person to be uglier in person than in their Driver's license photo.
Went roller skating for Brodie's birthday. I told myself I couldn't skate. Afterall too much time has passed and I have gained too much weight.
But, then I got a reality check and laced up.

Exaggerating the visual environment enough to transcend to a heightened sense of reality but not so much that the willing suspension of disbelief is interrupted prematurely; prolonging the heightened state as much as possible. Berlin, Germany.
Day 9. "Work"
I dream of being a photographer full time But so many factors add up to fact that it won't happen. I think I'd have a better future in photography if I lived somewhere other than Hick Town Roll Tide Alabama. I get next to no business. So I cook at Olive Garden. The pay doesn't completely suck, but between that and school, it's hard to find the time to do what I love, which does suck. I don't know, maybe I SHOULD lose this attitude and shoot for what I love, but at this moment in time, I can't afford to do that. Advice is appreciated.

I have strong feelings about this, neither do I judge both parties but, why can one man marry multiple women and Another can't marry the same sex? This doesn't make since to me.
This is part of a photographic series I'm calling "Domestic." I foresee the majority of these shots being taken with my iPhone, I'm aiming for a particular digital crudeness.
Overall "Domestic" aims to capture the minutia, ennui, and indistinct beauty of common objects/moments. Comments are welcome.
