In December 2009, we held our first event, a 24-hour music and art festival focused on raising PTSD awareness. The “Be Fearless! PTSD Awareness Event” was held in the virtual community, because it provided an easy way for people from around the globe to gather without the cost of travel—they could attend the event from their home PC.

My friend described a dream where she awoke in an old victorian mansion and wandered round the mansion until she found the gardens, and saw her mother, but woke up before she finished the dream. To make this dream a reality, i wanted to find an old abandoned building, and came across this, driving back from a day of shooting. its perfect, with large grounds.
So while I may look all put together on camera, I am really a bum. I wear my comfiest jeans and flat shoes under all my camera ready tops.

15/01/13: The conversation between Ah-Yeh, Ah-Ng and Aunty Veronica started to get a bit deep. It's not often you like to hear your grandpa talk about death, but I guess it's really unavoidable when you're faced with a prognosis of 6-7months.
Ah-Yeh was wondering if he was going to feel any pain in his last days, and asked the same question to his doctor earlier in the day. The doctor apparently couldn't give him an answer, so I just said that he'd most likely be pumped up with morphine and won't feel anything...well that's what I'd like to think.
The conversation continued for a bit and I could tell Ah-Ng wasn't really enjoying it, as you would expect. It reminded me of the moment when she broke down in my car, wishing Ah-Yeh would still be around for at least a year and possibly get better. Unfortunately, this is where reality kicks in :S
