May 1, 2018 - Official unveiling of the "Reading with Friends" sculpture. "In 2017, the Friends Foundation of Worthington Libraries commissioned an original sculpture from artist Mike Tizzano.
The sculpture design was based on characters from our recent summer reading programs, which featured Ricky the raccoon, Winston the owl and Asparagus the fox, and created on-site over several months in the lobby of Old Worthington Library.
The finished piece, called Reading with Friends, was cast in bronze and unveiled to the public at an event on May 1, 2018. The area around the sculpture will be further developed with pathways, lighting, seating and native plants" Text from Worthington Libraries website.

i love reading books. mostly fiction.. romantic comedy types.. heh. i'd like think once im reading a book, im like a part of their story.. like an outsider looking on the inside, secretly. heheh. i was thinking of making somewhat like a book review blog of the books ive read but ive been putting it off & i dont think i'll be going ahead with that idea. yet again, procrastination wins! haha.
books are for people who wish they were somewhere else - Mark Twain
