Foto antiga, de 2008...
Estava procurando uma foto em que o vermelho fosse destaque e acabei lembrando desta... uma das poucas que ainda estavam salvas na máquina e que consegui recuperar depois que o meu computador antigo "morreu".
Still nothing cute here. I couldn't bring myself to touch my needle and thread. Not yet.
A friend died yesterday morning. I'm still in shock. I've been to his wake, have seen his body lying in a coffin, have spoken to his fiancee about his last hours, but I still couldn't believe it.
He was a good guy, a jolly guy, a guy who kept trying to make everyone laugh. I didn't always laugh. I wasn't the friendliest girl in class, I was a bit of a bitch. But that didn't stop him from trying. And reaching out.
He wasn't scared of me and I admired that. Years after graduation, he continued to make his presence felt - messages on Facebook, random conversations on Yahoo Messenger, a text message here and there. He wanted all of us to stay friends. I really should have been a better friend - to him and to everyone else in that class.
JP's gone.
And on a day where I had to juggle grief, work, fears about my own health and lack of sleep, there was just no time for making a plushie.
Instead, I held Jill's magnetic poetry set hostage and took over her fridge (and cheated by adding the missing words).
This is for JP and for everyone else still breathing.

Escape
Come with me
Escape
Let's be free
From pain
From lies
Break the chain
Dry your eyes
Reaching out
We must escape
Time is running out
We must...escape..
Had trouble silver soldering the SS303 rod and ends. After some advice from Ed Hume, and 3 more practices, I was ready to move on to the real Reach Rod.
Thanks Ed.

It sure has been a while since I've uploaded, huh? Well, here's a photo of Meredith's hand I took today behind my mom's apartment complex.
