Went to get berries from Snyder's farm this morning and asked if I could take pictures while I was there.

The border has been photoshopped in.

These raspberries were huge! We had permission to stroll around the grounds, taking pictures, as long as we promised to not pick or eat! Seen at Ellsworth Hill Orchard and Berry Farm in Sharon, Connecticut, USA on September 1, 2008. On September 21st, we went back & picked raspberries--expensive, but really, really good!

Some raspberries I got from Costco.

A nice juicy raspberry. There's something about this shot that still makes my mouth water!

Both Brandon and I were very tired and hungry by this time, and we stopped here briefly for some cake and a drink.

Very tasty and classy, but expensive.

I originally found the brownie recipe here:

I got the idea of putting raspberries in them after making these:

www.smittenkitchen.com/2007/05/a-new-muffin-in-town

Here is the recipe as I adapted it with the raspberries:

Raspberry Brownies

1/2 cup butter (melted)

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon instant coffee granules

2 large eggs

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup chocolate chips

24 fresh raspberries

1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 24 mini-muffin tins.

2. Melt the butter if you haven’t already. Mix with sugar until well blended.

3. Add eggs, vanilla and coffee granules; stir just until blended.

4. Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl, and stir dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Add chocolate chips.

5. Divide batter among muffin tins and plop a raspberry in the middle of each brownie. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not overbake.

8. Cool completely before removing from tins.
