My youngest daughter & a friend made 30 little handwritten notes to randomly drop in neighbors' mailboxes. They're out scootering around now delivering them all. Some of the notes say things like: "Your garden is stunning", "I can't find the words to describe how great you are", "You're worth more than a million bucks"... (All filled with adorable misspellings.) Can't wait to hear how the delivery went! They told me not to post about it on social media in case someone finds out. Do they know what a low-level player I am in this system? I promise you girls, none of those strangers will know it was you. Haha!! #proudmama #randomactsofkindness #RAK #encouragesomeone #benice

A few years ago I met my friend Michael Runge through my friend Laura Wells when I threw an impromptu concert at Holmdel Park. Laura is awesome and Mike is awesome so over the summer they got married…hence the Runge at the end of her name. Haha! Well, Mike and I are Facebook buddies. Every comment he posts I find to be completely hilarious. Yesterday I posted the status above…Mike commented on it and of course I giggled. Today I reached in my mailbox and saw a letter to me from “Mike’s Make-A-Wish”. It was typed on the envelope. Very official. I’m thinking that someone wants me to donate to their foundation, but upon opening the letter I couldn’t have been more wrong. Mike sent me a check. A check for $3.29. As well as a coupon for a free drink from Starbucks. Needless to say I BUSTED out laughing. He totally made my day. Thanks Mike (and Laura cause this money is probably from a joint account. Hahahaha!)!

This is my son's CD. It is Random Acts of Kindness by Ed Solo and Skool of Thought. When I say it is his CD I don't mean it is part of his record collection: Ed Solo is my son and I'm very very proud of him.
I'm mentioned on the sleeve under 'Ed Solo would also like to thank'. I cried when I read that (so didn't notice that he also mentioned Rik, my SO).

Card was designed by me. I hand drew the heart and then imported them to my computer and created the pattern. I printed the cards myself with the Creative Collective template on the back.
The project only calls for 5 cards, but I did 6.

After seeing that I have a bit of an unhealty obsession with the little guy (see HERE and HERE) she found some that she had around and sent them my way.
Thank you so much A!!! You're the bestest. I was also quite excited to receive mail from Canada. I dunno why, but it was cool. :)
(And she even put Ernie on the mailing label! How awesome!)
