My friend Jill and I were walking to get breakfast when a man approached us and politely, yet firmly, asked her to hold out here hand. She did so relunctantly, and he placed his hand on top of hers. He told her to pay it foward in 2013, and then walked away. When she opened her hand, there was a crumpled $100 bill. I wasn't out of the house ten minutes, and already I've been inspired by my fellow man this year.

St. Mark's Fly received a helping hand yesterday as it floundered in the canal at Malkin's Bank, Hassall, Cheshire.
I say "Helping and" but I mean the end of my tripod :-)
BTW, if you are looking in St. Mark, I didn't do this just to get a seat at the top table :-)

Randome Acts of Kindness is a daily dose of love, happiness, and joy all balled up into one small and simple act. Buy the guy behind you in line his coffee. Hold the door for someone. Compliment a co-worker. Its simple! Go ahead, try it!
::Cute and Funny Story Below::
A few years ago I met my friend Michael Runge through my friend Laura Wells when I threw an impromptu concert at Holmdel Park. Laura is awesome and Mike is awesome so over the summer they got married…hence the Runge at the end of her name. Haha! Well, Mike and I are Facebook buddies. Every comment he posts I find to be completely hilarious. Yesterday I posted the status above…Mike commented on it and of course I giggled. Today I reached in my mailbox and saw a letter to me from “Mike’s Make-A-Wish”. It was typed on the envelope. Very official. I’m thinking that someone wants me to donate to their foundation, but upon opening the letter I couldn’t have been more wrong. Mike sent me a check. A check for $3.29. As well as a coupon for a free drink from Starbucks. Needless to say I BUSTED out laughing. He totally made my day. Thanks Mike (and Laura cause this money is probably from a joint account. Hahahaha!)!

This is all the work of a local person who crochets the PostBox Topper for this particular pillar box.
Card was designed by me. I hand drew the heart and then imported them to my computer and created the pattern. I printed the cards myself with the Creative Collective template on the back.
The project only calls for 5 cards, but I did 6.
Card 6:
This extra card was left for those about to embark on the hunting and gathering in the Grove of Wattle.
We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms -- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.

The incredibly awesome and incredibly talented Amadika sent me some Ernies!
After seeing that I have a bit of an unhealty obsession with the little guy (see HERE and HERE) she found some that she had around and sent them my way.
Thank you so much A!!! You're the bestest. I was also quite excited to receive mail from Canada. I dunno why, but it was cool. :)
(And she even put Ernie on the mailing label! How awesome!)
