Out of all of my images that I have taken. This is the only piece that I have hanging in my personal home. This photograph I took in Orange Beach Alabama where I started learning photography.

Jenny surprised me by leaving my favorite flowers (stargazer lilies) in my room. It's been a rough few months and she knew just how to make me smile and remind me that I can get through anything with the love of my friends. :)

Fra CorbyKnit i Random Acts of Kindness på Ravelry.

Noted on a bumper in the next lane.

1/30/12, Magnuson Dog Park. After a long day at work, I took CR to Magnuson to stretch his legs. Just inside the gate we saw this note and three tubes of new tennis balls on the picnic table. No one was around, so we didn't get to meet Hazel and Boo Boo Bean. It just goes to show that you never know when you're going to come across a random act of kindness

Grateful for random acts of kindness. I was at the nail salon today and after knowing that my hometown was damaged by the recent typhoon, a lady I haven't met paid for my pedi. My happy feet's dancing!

Many thanks to the team at Boondoggle Amsterdam

Mr. Spano presented Miranda with a special, autographed copy of the Orchestra’s latest CD release On A Wire – the first recording on the Orchestra’s new record label ASO Media.

Following rehearsal, the Atlanta Symphony presented Miranda with a gift package, including tickets for her family to an Orchestra concert, a gift certificate for dinner at Murphy’s in Virginia-Highland, four Atlanta Symphony recordings, and a variety of other Orchestra merchandise.

To start off her day, Miranda, also a violinist, had an exclusive meet and greet with Music Director Robert Spano.

A Norco Yorkville commuter, from Russ Hay's, The Bicycle Shop. This bicycle was purchased for me by a man named Ian, who saw me crying outside Mayfair Mall a few hours after my beautiful yellow bike was stolen. Ian took me to Russ Hay's, bought me a bike, drove me to the police station, and then took me to my dance school so I could sign up for dance. Then he drove away and said out his window, "Have a great life, kid." It's a pretty swank bike. Different from what I'm used to, but swank!

To end the afternoon, Miranda received a private violin lesson from Concertmaster David Coucheron.

David Goodfellow of The Kindness Offensive is pictured here giving a talk at Kindival

My friend Jill and I were walking to get breakfast when a man approached us and politely, yet firmly, asked her to hold out here hand. She did so relunctantly, and he placed his hand on top of hers. He told her to pay it foward in 2013, and then walked away. When she opened her hand, there was a crumpled $100 bill. I wasn't out of the house ten minutes, and already I've been inspired by my fellow man this year.

Her high school orchestra teacher, Chainey Cherry, joined her for the afternoon.
