Played around with some photos of Rain I took over the weekend to create a logo or something of that sort for her think bad posture site.
Don't know entirely why I posted this, but it caught my eye.
And this photo is a deception, there isn't a light leak. Its through a window, and yes it is pouring outside. This was right before the lightning made all the power go out at my church, so i quickly snagged a shot of the light coming through the tree :)
Rain down all around the world we're singing
Rain down can you hear the earth is singing
Rain down some are dry but I'm still singing
Rain down rain it down
(Song: Rain down- Jesus Culture)
took this while i was driving, it was raining hard on the right side while it was shinny on the left.....
Rain Room, 2012
Created by rAndom International, installed at the Barbican Centre, October 2012 to March 2013.
Rain Room is a hundred square metre field of falling water through which it is possible to walk, trusting that a path can be navigated, without being drenched in the process.
[rAndom International website]
Sensors register a person walking into the area and the water above stops, creating a (mostly) dry zone surrounded by the simulated rain.

to add to notflunkys photo of the torrential rain, this is what it looked like the other side of the railway line
All the small birds, but especially the young ones, were having a rough time of it today what with the high winds and the periodic heavy downpours. But they sheltered in the shrubs near the bird feeders and then popped out when the rain stops.
It was raining when I woke up this morning
So to escape it I went back to bed
But then the rain started leaking through the ceiling
And pretty soon it was pouring on my head
Sometimes it follows you home
Like an old stray dog
It won't leave you alone
But it's not the end
The end of the world
It's just another day
Depending on grace
No it's not the end
The end of the world
It's just another day
So don't sleep it all away
