Streets can be the most interesting places to shoot according to me.

Came across this kid on the entrance of a metro station in Delhi, trying to sail across the hand rails. Looked scary at first, but he managed it well in the end.

Picture was taken with a Zeiss Pancolar 50mm,

Took a couple days and drove west.

Thanks to my talented contact cormend for inspiring the title from a shot from last year.

I didn't find time to shoot too many compositions with the Train of Lights on the Niles Canyon Railway this year. But, it was quite an adventure procuring this one.

I wish everyone an enjoyable and meaningful holiday season and---already---happy new year!

As always, thanks for your support!

Maenofferen slate quarry, Blaenau Ffestiniog. This track formerly led to the top of Rhiwbach No 2 incline. The line on the bridge over continued on to the tips. On the right, over the bridge, was the start of Rhiwbach No 3 incline.

I just liked the way all the lines lined up here. Contax IIIa, Ferrania P30, Rodinal 1:50.

The Runton west junction, circa 1953, and 2013. Some track realignment, and a lot of Mother Nature. Shots taken from the Thaines Lane bridge at East Runton. Happy boyhood days watching the steam trains, and some of the new diesel rail cars.

Even pulled a lever in that signal box. 😂
