Der Schlossturm mit Uhren.

The castle tower with clocks.

Rapperswil Castle (Swiss German: Schloss Rapperswil) is a castle, built in the early 13th century AD by the House of Rapperswil in the former independent city of Rapperswil.

1962 Autobianchi Berlina D.

Autobianchi (Italian: [autoˈbjaŋki]) was an Italian automobile manufacturer, created jointly by Bianchi, Pirelli and Fiat in 1955. Autobianchi produced only a handful of models during its lifetime, which were almost exclusively small cars, with the biggest being the short-lived Autobianchi A111, a small family car. Autobianchis were priced higher than Fiat models of similar size and the brand was used by Fiat to test innovative concepts which later found their way into mainstream Fiat vehicles; these concepts included fibreglass bodies and front-wheel drive.

The Fiat 8V (or "Otto Vu") is a sports car produced by the Italian automaker Fiat from 1952 to 1954. The car was introduced at the 1952 Geneva Motor Show. The Fiat 8V got its name because at the time of its making Ford had acopyright on the term V8. They weren't a commercial success, but did well in racing. Apart from the differential the car did not share any parts with the other Fiats (but many parts were made by Siata and they used them for their cars). The 8V was developed by Dante Giacosa and the stylist Luigi Rapi. The engine was a V8 originally designed for a luxury sedan, but that project was stopped. The Fiat V8 had a 70 degree V configuration of up to a 1996 cc of volume, at 5600 rpm the engine produced 105 hp (78 kW) in standard form giving a top speed of 190 km/h (118 mph). The engine was connected to a four speed gearbox. The car had independent suspension all round and drum brakes on all four wheels.

Top management were preoccupied with more run of the mill projects, however, and only 114 of the high-performance coupés had been produced by the time the cars were withdrawn from production in 1954.[1]Nevertheless, they continued to win the Italian 2-litre GT championship every year until 1959.

34 of the cars had a factory produced bodywork by Carozzeria Speciale FIAT. Some cars had the bodywork done by other Italian coachbuilders. Carozzeria Zagato made 30 that they labelled "Elaborata Zagato". Ghia and Vignalealso made bodyworks. Most were coupés, but some spyders were made as well.

Phaedra married Theseus, king of Athens. At the core of her legend is her relationship with her stepson Hippolytus, Theseus’ son by the Amazon Antiope. In what seems to have been the traditional story told by Apollodorus (Epit. I, 18-19), “Phaedra, after she had borne two children, Acamas and Demophon, to Theseus, fell in love with the son he had by the Amazon, to wit, Hippolytus, and besought him to lie with her. Howbeit, he fled from her embraces, because he hated all women. But Phaedra, fearing that he might accuse her to his father, cleft open the doors of her bed-chamber, rent her garments, and falsely charged Hippolytus with an assault. Theseus called on Poseidon to punish Hippolytus with death. Poseidon had promised Theseus that he would fulfill three requests, and so sent a sea-monster which appeared as Hippolytus was driving his chariot along the shore at Troezen. It frightened the horses, which flung him from the chariot and dragged him to his death.

A different story tells how, at the request of Artemis, Asclepius brought Hippolytus back to life. Artemis then carried him to Italy to her sanctuary on the shore of Lake Nemi. According to this second version, in Ovid’s Metamorphoses, book XV, Hippolytus tells his life to the Nymph Egeria, wife and counselor of Numa Pompilius, the second king of Rome.

He starts his resume declaring himself a victim of the credulity of his father and of the deception of the wicked stepmother - « … credulitate patris, sceleratae fraude novercae … ». This is the description of his ruinous fall after the appearance of the sea monster sent by Neptune:

Nec vires tamen has rabies superasset equorum,

ni rota, perpetuum quae circumvertitur axem,

stipitis occursu fracta ac disiecta fuisset.

Excutior curru, lorisque tenentibus artus

viscera viva trahi, nervos in stipe teneri,

membra rapi partim, partim reprensa relinqui,

ossa gravem dare fracta sonum fessamque videres

exhalari animam nullasque in corpore partes,

noscere quas posses, unumque erat omnia vulnus.

[Met XV, 521 – 529]

«Still would the horses' mad strength not have surpassed my own had not a wheel, striking its hub against a projecting stock, been broken and wrenched off from the axle. I was thrown from my car, and while the reins held my legs fast, you might see my living flesh dragged along, my sinews held on the sharp stake, ray limbs partly drawn on and in part caught fast and left behind, and my bones broken with a loud, snapping sound. You might see my spent spirit breathed out and there was no part of my body which you could recognize, but it all was one great wound».

Selamat Idul Adha

Cihuuuuyyy... berhubung Idul Adha tahun ini gandeng sama akhir pekan, so 3 hari deh liburnya

Tapi...

Gara-gara capek dan tiduran itu pula, tadi pagi saya hampir saja ditinggal Sholat Ied sama seluruh keluarga!!!

Jadi ceritanya begini...

Langsung jatuh miskin deh saya, TANGGAL TUA bo!! ^^;;

Kagak ada budget buat naik komidi putar segala deh, pulang-pulang!

Saya sudah capek banget jalan keliling-keliling pakai kaki!!

Sampai rumah sudah jam 10-an malam..

Ngaso, maem (emi) lagi *pas buka puasa di Besaran tadi cuma makan dikit banget*, kipas-kipas, mandi, nonton stand up komedi di tipi, gosok-gosok minyak kayu putih biar capeknya agak ilang... bobok tetap di atas jam 11 malam.

Walhasil pas dibangunin subuh sama emak saya.. saya bilang masih ngantuk, capek..

Gimana dunk?!

Mamah.. aku gak usah mandi ya, gak sempat...^^;;

Tapi berani sumpah, biar kata belum mandi SAYA GAK BAU loh!! Jangan salah!! ;p

Eniwei, berhubung keburu-buru, saya gak sempat pula ambil foto.

Hah!! Kenapa gak sekalian aja bilang bahwasannya tampang saya yang radha sangar ini cucok buat jadi penjaga keamanan?!! ^^;;

The basic design for the Vedette-Series came from Ford, Detroit, but the finishing off was done by Fabio Luigi Rapi (It, 1902-?). The Vedette had all luxury of those days incorporated.

In the first years the Vedette Series was also sold in the Netherlands and Germany as Ford Vedette.

For 1958 a restyle for the tail and front was done (2nd generation Vedette). Also received the body a new panoramic windscreen.

The Beaulieu was the cheapest of the Vedette Phase II range.

After 1961 production was continued in Brazil.

In fact it was a kind of hybride: it had the Flash engine of the Aronde 1300 and the body of the Vedette Trianon, the most simple version of the Vedette-Series.

The basic design for the Vedette-Series came from Ford, Detroit, but the finishing off was done by Fabio Luigi Rapi (It, 1902-?). The Vedette had all luxury of those days incorporated.

Simultaneously there was also offered a Ariane 8 with the famous V8 Vedette engine.

The 8V was developed by Dante Giacosa and the stylist Luigi Rapi and unveiled at the 1952 Turin Motorshow.. Fiat chose to use the name 8V because they believed that Ford had a copyright on the name V8. Apart from the differential the car did not share any parts with the other Fiats though there was a crossover of parts with Siatta

The engine was a V8 originally designed for a luxury sedan, but that project was stopped..The Fiat V8 had a 70 degree V configuration, displaced 1,996 cc and was fitted with two twin-choke Weber 36 DCF 3 carburettors. with an output of 104bhp and a top speed of 118mph, which was uprated to 113bhp and finally 125bhp.

The cars did well in yhe Italian 2 litre GT Championship, with production ending in 1954, the cars continued to race winning the Italian 2 litre GT Championships every year until 1959..

Always a rare car with 114 of the high-performance coupés built, 34 of which were bodied by Fiat's Reparto Carrozzerie Speciali ("Special Bodies Department"). and 30 by Zagato Ghia and Vignale also made bodyworks. Most were coupés, but some spyders were made as well.

This car is a Mark 2 of which only 34 were built, the Mark 1 had its headlights positioned in the grille aperture

Following the Fiat 8V coupé limited edition, the auto maker introduced a prototype at the 1954 Turin car show, with its body built out of fibreglass (it only weighed 48.5 kg), an innovative material at the time. In a way, this marked the end of the brief career of the only sports car with eight cylinder engine ever made by Fiat. In total, 114 Fiat 8V cars were built.

The Autobianchi Bianchina is a minicar designed by Luigi Rapi and produced by Autobianchi. Launched it 1957 it was available in numerous configuration through its long production span, Berlina (saloon), Cabriolet (roadster), Trasformabile (convertible), Panoramica (station wagon), and Furgoncino (van). Initially powered by an aircooled Fiat 479cc engine producing 15 to 16,5hp it was enhanced to a 499cc Fiat engine from 1961 with 17.5 to 21hp

The Cabriolet and Transformabile were introduced in 1960 this body style featured fixed B-pillar and partial roof, as the rest of the opening was covered with foldable fabric hood, whilst the Cabriolet version had no B-pillar. The Trasformabile was the only versions to feature suicide doors and in 1962, it was replaced by a four-seat saloon. The engine and chassis were the same in both.

In 1965, a minor facelift was made. In France, the models were sold under different names: the Berlina became the Lutèce, the Familiare the Texane, and the Trasformabile was marketed as the Eden Roc .
