Removing the wall and sink cabinets, cleaning out mold and various nasty beasties, priming it. Don't care how it looks... bathroom has to be re-drywalled soon. Just don't want to be disgusted with it in the meantime!
The cut-in is finally done on the hardest parts over the stairwell, so we're ready to do the field, just waiting till after we move in because that wall is sure to get dinged up. We wound up having to set up the scaffolding on the staircase in order to do the cutting in. It was awkward, but worth the effort. The cut-ins there are some of the sharpest and cleanest in the whole place.

These things must die. I'm pulling every wire from the house and bringing it back up to code. Junction boxes are your friend. They only cost 3 bucks! Why don't people use them?
