On this Sunday, August 24th,2025, we see Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Andy Gather doing a follow-up at the Community Health Center ER from a case in Rusty Creek Subdivision in the Southwestern part of the county
We also see County EMT Sheby Lopez standing next to one of the ambulances that make up their small fleet
The Community Health Center is a local hospital and clinic that has been serving Hazzard Range County since 1939. The name of the County Hospital was changed in 1982 when the county took over full ownership. Since 2019, the Sheriff’s office has provided security for it and has 5 deputies assigned to it
The Community Health Center governing board is made up of 4 appointed and 3 elected representatives for 7 total members, and for the last 7 years, the facility has been under off-and-on construction and renovation, with a plan compilation in 2030, but with delays it has run into with funding that might be pushed back more
