I like the graphics on this Nevada Department of Public Safety Fire Marshal unit. This pickup is a 2010-2018 Ram 2500/3500 quad cab. I didn't see any emergency lights anywhere on it but would be surprised if this vehicle is not equipped to respond Code 3. So there's probably LED flashers hidden on it somewhere. Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s Office Wildlife Investigator Dan Farco took a report of depredation on 6 sheep in an area off of Forest Road 128 near TNT flats in Sweetwater County. Report taken
~~~NOTE NOT REPORTED IN THE PAPER ~~
Wildlife Investigator Dan Farco is cross-commissioned with neighboring counties of Clay and Sweetwater to solo investigate livestock and animal depredation from Mexican Gray wolves that have seen a huge uptick in the last few years, but has gotten worse since the late 1990s when the federal government first started releasing them.
Wildlife Investigator Farco's job used to be an animal control officer also, with an uptick of killings, Hazzard Range County Sheriff Troy Forbes worked with three county commission boards to fund the equipment need for the positions, but Sheriff Forbes like many would love see taxpayers funding used to fight others issues faceing the counties like drug related crimes. Though he knows the need is there need for this badly and will keep doing everything in his power to help along with Clay County Sheriff Shawn Gray and Sweetwater County Sheriff TJ Gonzales, along with other county and state officials, but remote parts of western states like NM is a major uphill fight Even when a depredation is comforiemd by US Fish and Game along with the county have confirmed the kills, there are likely five more where investigators don’t have enough evidence left to add them to the list, or the animals are never found, many are pets.
