Boom is in the Western Part of Apache County NM in the Terreno llano Seco basin ( TLS basin ) and Terreno llano Seco means dry flat land in Spanish. Boom has a population of about 1,798.
It is named for the oil boom that started in the area back in the 1950s
Sky High Gas and Cafe.is located on Basin rd a Half-mile east of the junction of Boom rd/Main St .

Even a bit of extra DIY detailing to headlights and badging fail to address the general aura of cheapness which accompanies the Matchbox 2016 Ram 2500 Flatbed in whatever recolour its been given. A flatbed rear with moulded in luggage is probably its only redeeming feature, this cheapo casting possesses neither an interior or frontal detailing.

Latest recolour of the Matchbox 2016 Ram 2500 Flatbed which like all its other releases underwhelms as a casting thanks to no interior, a crude plastic rear body and no front or rear tampo detailing. Will this prove to be a big peg warmer? I suspect it probably will.

Matchbox meets Maisto with the rather cheapo looking 2016 Ram 2500 Flatbed which has very little going for it in terms of casting finesse. Its never enjoyed having an interior for example nor front detailing but it clearly has a role in the modern line up as this new Construction theme livery is now its ninth release.

I'm slowly ripping this spray-in bed liner out of the bed. It's VERY thin, in most places as thick as cereal box cardboard. Some places as thin as paper. Worst spray-in liner I've ever seen. It has many tears and rips in in.
The Rhino Liner that was sprayed into my previous truck was 1/4" thick in most places, and TOUGH. That could have been applied over this stuff, but they won't warranty the work if it is. It's best on a clean bed.
So, I'm pulling it out. It's a lot of work - I use a heat-gun on the plastic so it softens, then rip it up. Bad thing is that hot polyurethane makes my fingers tender after a while. :-D
This is the result of about four hours of work. Which is why I'm doing it myself - I've no desire to pay a shop $50+ an hour to have it removed.
