Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Nathan Milton took a report of a burglary on Copper St in East Sparta.

East Sparta is just east of downtown Sparta, the county seat, across the Rio Grande. Sparta sits on the western bank of the river, and the east bank is called East Sparta, Little South, The bottoms, or Old town by locals, and was the site of Sparta till 1912, after a flood /fire forced it to be relocated to the west side of the river.
Pickups are big business representing high returns and stakes for the auto brands that build them. They are also a daily necessity for both consumer and commercial usage. This week Automotive Rhythms spent more time behind the wheel of a 2022 Wind Chill Pearl Toyota Tundra Hybrid Capstone CrewMax, which felt more luxurious than industrial. I didn’t want to accomplish my typical yard tasks and Home Depot runs with this particular truck, especially with its lovely black and cream two-toned interior, jeweled chromed exterior trim, and 22" dark chrome alloy rims. However, we did go mountain biking together. For rough riders, you might want to go with the Tundra TRD Pro, which easily handles all terrains on and off-road. The MSRP for the Tundra Hybrid Capstone CrewMax is $73,530, but my test model was a bit more due to the $1,045 AVS+ Load-Leveling Rear Air Suspension, $425 Wind Chill Pearl (white) paint selection, and the $579 non-skid spray-on bed liner.

On this Friday Sept 6th ,2024 morning , we see County Public works operator about to start his day blading the streets of Fort Hazzard as Deputy Brady Munoz talks with Fort Hazzard Substation Administrative Secretary Karen Lime outside of the Substation . Inside Sergeant Jerry Sparks going over some stuff with local rancher Hank Delong about some damage he has game cam footage of off road vehicles destroying his pasture land .
Last we see couple and their dog playing frisbee in lot next to Sheriff’s office Substation
On this Thursday April 11th 2024 late afternoon .We see Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s office Deputy Amanda Wisey talking with Hazzard Range county Regional Dispatch Authority ( HRCRDA ) Dispatcher Kelsey Griego who just got off her shift . They are talking in a parking lot across the street from the County Government Center in Sparta the County Seat . County Government Center built in the 1930s by WPA along with Lobez Building ,the building in back is County Volunteer Fire Station 5 ( Sparta 2 ) that is a small two bay two story building built in 1920 . Second floor is used for meeting room and tonight is HRCRDA board meeting .
Lopez building is located on Second street in the county seat of Sparta and was named for Sheriff Timothy Lopez who was sheriff from 1898 - Feb 1912 . He died in the great fire/flood of 1912 and houses ,Code Compliance , Emergency Services Administrator and 911 /Regional Dispatch offices it was built in 1930s on land once own by Lopez used to be Sparta city hall before county city merger in 1970s .County is currently working on funding sources for new bigger building that will also house the County Sheriff’s Admin offices and possibly a new Fire Station 5 .
Sheriff’s Admin office is located in half of First floor of County government center and in bad need for bigger space also
I went for a walk along the horse trails at Crenshaw and Palos Drive North, and while waiting for a traffic signal encountered these adorably happy pups. I'm pretty sure they are Australian Shepherds. There's a third one who was interested but obviously wouldn't fit in the window.
