Ram Island, about a mile offshore from Portland Head near the entrance to Portland Harbor, Maine, is surrounded by dangerous ledges.

In 1902, Congress appropriated funds for the building of a lighthouse on Ram Island Ledge. In 1903, the federal government purchased the ledges from two Cape Elizabeth families for $500.

2018 RAM 1500 (V8 5.7 401 hp) at Rotterdam

We found the same herd of sheep in roughly the same are two days in a row. They seemed quite tolerant of us, but were so busy feeding it was still hard to get a nice pose. Finally this ram lifted his head posed briefly.
