I just noticed this Ram taking a load of his feet while his partner was close by taking a load of her feet too.

Bomba ÅimÅekleri beyninden inip her siperin;
Sƶnüyor gƶÄsünün üstünde o arslan neferin.
Yerin altında cehennem gibi binlerce laÄam,
Atılan her laÄamın yaktıÄı: Yüzlerce adam.
Ćlüm indirmede gƶkler, ƶlü püskürmede yer;
O ne müdhiÅ tipidir: Savrulur enkaaz-ı beÅer...
Kafa, gƶz, gƶvde, bacak, kol, Ƨene, parmak, el, ayak,
BoÅanır sırtlara vĆ¢dilere, saÄnak saÄnak.
Saçıyor zırha bürünmüŠde o nâmerd eller,
Yıldırım yaylımı tƻfanlar, alevden seller.
Veriyor yangını, durmuŠda açık sinelere,
Sürü halinde gezerken sayısız teyyâre.
Top tüfekten daha sık, gülle yaÄan mermiler...
Kahraman orduyu seyret ki bu tehdide güler!
Ne Ƨelik tabyalar ister, ne siner hasmından;
Alınır kal'Ć¢ mı gƶÄsündeki kat kat iman?
Hangi kuvvet onu, hĆ¢ÅĆ¢, edecek kahrına rĆ¢m?

"Yo, Rock & Roll, how's work going on the RAM?"
"Righteous, Stalker. I corralled a few more ponies, need to reload the cannon, then we're ready for another strike on Cobra!"
G.I. Joe Day is officially sanctioned by Hasbro on February 1st, but some sources purport that the world's first Action Figure was released to market on Feb. 2, 1964. The 3 3/4" versions don't have swappable uniforms like the 12" originals, but a recent release by the Black Major offers a nice alternate look for Rock & Roll that reminds me of his preproduction design from the 1997 Stars and Stripes set. And lacking a wicked garage setup like DreadnokDread, I had to pull out one of the old JoeDios backdrops!
This is one of the photographs I took at the Donington Park Museum in September 2014. It's the 1983 RAM March 01 that the RAM team campaigned in the 1983 season and has a 2,993 cc V8 Ford Cosworth DFV engine. The board next to the car reads as follows:
1983 RAM Racing March
RAM Racing was a Formula One racing team which
competed during the racing seasons of 1976 to 1985.
The team entered other manufacturersā chassis from
1976 to 1980, then ran Marchās team from 1981 to
1983, only entering a car entirely their own in 1984 and
1985.
1983 saw the RAM name make itself onto the chassis
for the first time, with David Kellyās RAM March 01
design. Salazar returned to drive the main entry, while a
second car for Jean-Louis Schlesser was fielded at the
French Grand Prix as a one-off. Salazar scored a 15th
place in the season opener, but the bulky car struggled
to qualify. Financial reasons saw the team skip the
Detroit Grand Prix, while they only made the Canadian
Grand Prix due to fielding local driver Jacques
Villeneuve Sr. and attracting some Canadian
Sponsorship. Kenny Acheson then took over for the rest
of the season, only qualifying once, at the season-
closing South African Grand Prix, where he took the
team's best result of the year, 12th and last.
Here's one I made earlier. A Rams skull carved with a Dremel which I did some time ago. It was never quite 'finished' until now. When I did the carving I painted the skull white, it was a flat white and lacked detail. Today I gave it a thin black wash with acrylic. Now it looks more sinister - which is nice.

ASDA have promised things will get better regarding Matchbox in 2018 but that almost certainly means loyal collectors will have missed out on serious amounts of great 2017 issues especially considering we are STILL on Batch G!!!!!!!!!! Normally I am loath to buy basic MBX and HW on Ebay as I resent paying vastly inflated prices PLUS postage for pocket money diecasts which would normally cost far less but this new 2015 RAM 1500 appeared on Ebay at a very reasonable price. Factoring how much they now cost at ASDA and the price of petrol to drive there this cost about the equivalent, it almost certainly came from Batch H which briefly appeared at some of our Poundland stores a few months back so the seller made a small profit and I got a model I may not get the chance to buy again! Having had a huge Majorette buying spree at the moment I have to be careful not to be too unkind about this model as i'm now finding the difference in quality between the two brands alarmingly different considering the French one actually costs less! I love still love Matchbox so here goes... Firstly I have to say i'm very impressed by this new livery which uses a real life El Segundo Fire Dept. colour scheme and makes it just as appealing as its debut National Parks. Strict cost control does shine through sadly with that very cheapo looking grey plastic front panel but overall its a likeable casting with strong chunky looks and well chosen wheel design. Mint and boxed.

This great little ram figurine was made in the same era as many Bitossi pieces, and is most definitely influenced by them. I believe however, that these were do-it-yourself kits at the time, as there are rams and little horses of them same design in many different colors and varying degrees of craftsmanship to be found.
The Ram can easily break through the thickest walls with his horns. His tremendous vigour makes him one of the most dangerous dragons.
(Note: the text came with the figurine, so don't blame me for any inconsistencies. :-P)
Continuing on with my "juxtaposed" London theme, here is a shot I took today down in Wandsworth at the corner of the South Circular and Garrett Lane. On the one corner you have the Southside shopping centre, including a very tall vertical modern apartment block, then on this corner, you have the old Ram Brewery built around 1550 and closed in 2006.
This was not an easy assignment as there was a steady flow of double decker buses creeping round the ring road and loads of people around so I don't think a Saturday afternoon is the best time to tackle these kind of shots...!
