C’est avec une bonne surprise que l’intercités 5955, après avoir marqué un arrêt en gare de Moulins sur Allier, passe non loin du petit village de Bessay sur Allier, avec la 26156 avec une livrée carmillon propre et 2 coupons de 7 voitures corail, dont une rame de réserve en début de convois où l’on peut voir divers livrées sur ces dernières.

The mother Ewe pushed him to come out and greet us. Little Ram Lamb was born around this time last Spring. Here he is with his mom and another Ewe. These sheep belong to my neighbor across the road. This little fella is now a Pasture Ram. He will live out his days hanging out in the pasture eating grass. He's a lucky little guy!

Only after the wet process I saw the Ram head. He looks like a tough guy.

A quick visit to the mouflons today. A pleasant surprise as the small herd allows to get very close today. And once again it's the rams that are photogenic.
One particularly handsome one was a real poser.
Schnell ein Besuch bei den Mufflons heute. Freudige Überraschung, denn die kleine Herde lässt heute viel Nähe zu. Und wieder sind es die Widder, die sich fotogen präsentieren.
Ein besonders Hübscher war ein echter poser.
This ram has a wounded back leg. As he was on a small island in the Zambezi river, we guessed that he might have been attacked by a crocodile while passing over.
His survival chances seem to be good as long as he stays on the island as the predators most likely will not appear on this island.

De villa Rams Woerthe in de Overijsselse vestingstad Steenwijk werd eind 19e eeuw in opdracht van de Steenwijker industrieel en filantroop Jan Hendrik Tromp Meesters als woonhuis gebouwd. Rams Woerthe, gebouwd in art-nouveau-stijl (oftewel jugendstil), kwam in 1899 gereed. De opdrachtgever Tromp Meesters heeft het huis slechts negen jaar bewoond. In 1908 overleed hij op 53-jarige leeftijd. Zijn weduwe wilde er niet blijven wonen en verkocht in 1917 het pand aan de gemeente Steenwijk voor de prijs van 90.000 gulden.

Over the last few weeks I've seen several weathervanes as we whizzed by in the car and weren't able to stop and photograph.
However, yesterday I spotted this one on a balcony of a house in Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne ... not somewhere you'd expect to see a weathervane!
