Two rams tangle their horns in some mock sparring in preparation for the real show a few months away.
Part of a herd of nine rams that we found accessible three days in a row. Our beautiful worlld, pass it on.
My own interpatation of my meeting with this loveable Ram. The front of my lens was about 8-9 inches away from the tip of his nose and not a stir out of him.
The Wet plate collodion process came to mind when processing it.
A close up of a rocky mountain bighorn sheep ram. Taken in the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park.
I went to the Sheep's Village in Gangwondo for traveling at Aug 4th 2015. I bought the ticket to the village and I can reach to this sheep's Mound. it was very good to enjoy very tranquil times over there. I searched around the mound to take photos and I found this scenery which can express the animal and the landscape. I think the animal and the mound landscape harmonises very well.
This boat launch is part of the Ram Light, located off the Ocean Point shoreline at Grimes Cove. Near Boothbay Harbor. It was built in 1883. Prior to its existence, the perilous rocks of Ram Island were marked by lanterns tended by local mariners.
They were crude and many times could not be seen beyond 100 feet. Now the light is visible for 13 miles.
Ram Light can be seen from a distance at Grimes Cove or closer by boat.
Ramming the solidified slag and steel that builds up at the slag door so the slag can be poured off from the arc furnace.
Shots from my early attempts at industrial photography, at the steel mill -- even trying to get it right with a pocket camera.
Anyone know the breed please? This was taken in the Elan valley in Wales. Perhaps Welsh Mountain or a cross with?
Many thanks to all who comment, fave or just enjoy looking, very much appreciated folks!
Manchester is on a roll when it comes to gaining new airlines and new destinations... One of the newest carriers to begin operating into Manchester is Morocco's flag-carrier, Royal Air Maroc. Prior to serving Manchester, Royal Air Maroc already operated to London Gatwick and London Heathrow (serving both Casablanca and Rabat).
Royal Air Maroc began operating flights between Casablanca and Manchester from 28th March 2017 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday only. AT818/819 is operated by Boeing 737-800's.
Royal Air Maroc operates a majority Boeing fleet, their Boeing 737's operating the lion-share of short-haul flights across Africa and Europe. The airline have a simple livery with an overall white fuselage with a red and green chatline running down the centre. Some aircraft retain their old colour scheme with a grey underbelly, such as this airframe.
Currently, Royal Air Maroc operates 38 Boeing 737's, which includes one Boeing 737-300BDSF, 6 Boeing 737-700's and 31 Boeing 737-800's.
Romeo Oscar Charlie is one of 31 Boeing 737-800's in service with Royal Air Maroc, delivered new to the flag-carrier in March 2005 and she is powered by 2 CFM International CFM56-7B26 engines.

Taken from the boat. Mike didn't bring his camera. I did. He circled for a while so I could get some photos of the sunset behind Ram Island Light. I tried to do an HDR but do you know how difficult that is on a moving boat in swells? It was worth a try. The sky came out great, but the lighthouse looked weird.
A big horn ram tries to escape the mosquitoes in the late evening in Jasper National Park. If you look closely you can see several mosquitoes buzzing around its head and a couple landed on his horns.
This was one of 7 individuals part of the bachelor herd that we found in the hills at Jasper National Park. The other 6 rams are all laying a few feet from this one, more images to come!
After trekking up many stairs and slopes through Alpine NSW, we arrived at South Ram's Head. A little chilly, we set up camp just around the corner from this magnificent rock form.
It was a pretty cold night, and I even got to experience sleeping with my feet in a frozen creek after sliding down the slope I was on during the night. But it was all worth it!
A Kangaroo was a Canadian armoured personnel carrier (APC) during the Second World War which was created by converting a tank chassis. Kangaroos were created as an expedient measure "in the field" by the Canadian Army, and were so successful that they were used by other Commonwealth forces, including the British Army.
Their ability to manoeuvre in the field with tanks was a major advantage over earlier designs, and led to the dedicated APC designs that were introduced by almost all armies immediately after the war.
