Of the bit of oxtail I did try, it was nicely braised, and heavily seasoned, full of flavour and unctuous to boot. I guess I'll have to wait until another Wednesday to try this as it's only available once a week. This would probably be a good course to share as it is rather (in a good way) stick-to-the-ribs heavy.
E was kind enough to let me photograph and taste the entree that we were both interested in, but sadly, the kitchen had only one of. Given that E's a new mommy and all, I guess it was only fair she was given the honour to order it (plus her order was taken first. BOO. Ha ha).
the american airlines desk at vancouver is always a complete shambles in the morning. It takes the stupid woman an hours to set out the queues. I got served by her again. last time i thought she was just new. now i know she's just stupid.
