Queuing to be vaccinated as Sheffield Theatres became a pop-up vaccination centre.
The queue was so long it had to form an S shape.
For the second Saturday running 700 jabs were available on a first come, first serve basis for anyone over the age of 18, with doors open from 9am until 2pm.

Several origins have been suggested for the name. Most relate to dancing, the word “hopping” meaning a dance in Middle English (Old fairs included dancing). Another idea stems from the clothing which the travellers used to wear; that being of old, sack like tops and pants. Clothing often became infested with fleas from the animals that travelled with the fair. People were often seen “jumping” or “hopping” about itching from the bites which they received. Or the name may derive from the Anglo-Saxon word “hoppen” meaning funfair.
The fair began as a Temperance Fair in 1882. It was scheduled to coincide with Race Week at Newcastle Racecourse, during which the Northumberland Plate was awarded.

.... and won't end for a long time. The Skybus service for the Malaysian Grand Prix was abismal. I, like most passengers, waited many hours before and after the Grand Prix in queues for buses to and from the event. (In total, I spent 5 hours waiting for Skybuses) The most grating aspect of the wait was that the buses were parked alongside the queues of passengers, but for some reason they would only let one proceed every half-an-hour or so, leaving thousands of passengers to wait.

This was at Wal-Mart last night. I'm pretty sure that Tom is hanging out at Lawn & Garden right now.
Kenn has something like 42 rechargable batteries, and they were all lined up under the charger like a Shinkansen queue a few days after New Years. I felt kind of bad for them, waiting there all that time. Clearly, my anthropomorphizing has gotten a little out of control...

The Leitchuor Refugee Camp houses over 40,000 refugees. Mud huts are recovering after weeks of severe flooding. Many refugees left to the nearby village. UNHCR is working on relocating the remaining refugees to dry land. The UN says an estimated 180,000 refugees have arrived in Ethiopia from South Sudan since violence there erupted in mid-December 2013.

After queueing for an hour to walk out, we queued for over 2 hours to drive out of the field. There was no marshalling so it was a free for all. Everyone just pointed their cars at the exit and hoped for the best. Most were pretty good and filtered considerately (with one noteable exception!). When we got to the gate there was one poor girl sending cars through one at a time.
If they'd had four or five proper queues it would have been quicker because she could have let, say, five cars from each queue go through at a time. Very badly organised.
