A student lawyer responds to a question.
On April 16-17, four jurists from Iowa’s highest courts – Justices Brent Appel and Edward Mansfield of the Iowa Supreme Court and Judges Mary Tabor and Anu Vaitheswaran of the Iowa Court of Appeals – served as the “chief justices” for moot court arguments in Advanced Placement Government classes at Hoover, Lincoln and Roosevelt high schools.
The four real jurists were joined by a panel of student justices to hear arguments by student attorneys in two cases currently pending before the U.S. Supreme Court. This hands-on exercise was a key lesson in learning about the American judicial system, and is an example of the effort by Des Moines Public Schools to expand AP courses in all five high schools.

The Neats were a Boston rock band that existed from the late 1970s to early 1990s. They first recorded for the independent Propeller label, which in 1981 released the song, "Six", a swirling, Vox-washed slab of garage rock reminiscent of Question Mark & the Mysterians. The following year, their well-received debut, 7-song EP, The Monkey's Head in the Corner of the Room, was released on Boston's Ace of Hearts Records. It was voted one of the best EPs of 1982 in the Village Voice's annual Pazz & Jop poll.[1] Three full-length albums followed. The band featured well-crafted songs and a psychedelic power pop sound in a similar vein as The Dream Syndicate and The Feelies. They occasionally played on the same bill as Mission of Burma; they once toured nationally with R.E.M..

Part of a portraiture project. I asked the sitters a question and recorded their facial expressions while they thought of the answer.
I was on my back patio looking out into the garden when I happened to look down at my largest Butterfly Bush. There was this lovely Question Mark. There was only enough time to snap off one quick shot before it flew away.
One of the oldest questions in the sport of auto racing is if it is either a team or an individual sport? The correct answer is yes, to both. We know that there is no “I” in team, but the best drivers compete to be #1, which is what makes them the best drivers. Balancing the needs of the team and the personality of the driver behind the wheel is considered to be one of the most difficult jobs in all of professional sports. This Demo Day examined the challenges through the lens of four of the greatest team managers in the history of racing - Ferrari, Neubauer, Wyer, and Shelby. The featured cars for this Demo Day Included: the1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza, the 1964 Cobra Daytona Coupe, the 1958 Aston Martin DBR1, and the1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL.

New Mexico has an official state question - "Red or Green?". It's a question commonly heard at restaurants here, where waiters will ask customers "red or green?", meaning what kind of chile do they want with their burrito or enchilada. If you're undecided (maybe new to that restaurant or haven't tried their red yet), or you're just visiting and have no idea, you can order "Christmas" and get red and green.
So when you see a scene like this and you think "chile" you're either a New Mexican, you're on your way to becoming a New Mexican, or maybe you're just hungry.
Time for breakfast, maybe I'll have one of those green chile bagels...
Question 1: Welcome back! It's now the official Year of Statistics! What data should the Library be analyzing this year?
I've been getting lots of links back to this picture from different tumblr sites, especially this one.
Nowww, I don't know anything about tumblr, and it kind of confuses me what's going on when i try to figure out if they're using it as a background or posting it for fun or whatever. I don't really mind I guess, but is this normal?
Just wondering!!
The stones are asking "how long are we gonna have to be covered in ice?"
I didn't notice this until I'd downloaded the images from my camera. I love visual surprises.

I ask these useless questions,
I do not wait for an answer because I have begun to realize
You never answer when I expect.

Anther outlier. She should stick to the ranting, but, no, she has to ask questions of the audience. :)
You should have seen the look on her face when I asked if I could take a picture of her but. Then she remembered the sticker.
