ok, i want to work on getting sprout's hair 100% this week.

her part is rooted & thatched but the hair is sitting up higher than normal-not laying flat like regular stock hair.

sooooo, since it is heatproof, can i do the wet towel/iron method to get it to lie flat against her scalp?

I think I am right on this one. It is so crazy how much they resemble a leaf. I saw this one fly from the grass into the tree and I really had to look for it!

Thanks for the comments and "faves" :)

So i have gotten into the habit of taking pictures everyday...or at least almost everday. Now i am wonderin if i should do a 365 or not...not all self portraits [but im working on doing more of those as you may as noticed.] So i'd like the opinion of my flickr friends. Would you guys actually follow it if I did a 365?

The Cannondale rep very graciously answered our inane geeky questions.

March 10:Question Mark

Jefferson County, Missouri; March; 2009.

Oral Question Period on the first day of business for the Third Session of the 28th Legislature. November 18, 2014.

Am I a set? (town and country?)

I find these go well together. The Yellow is much softer then the yellow from the primary fridgie set.

Should I keep the mustache, let the beard grow back in or shave?

ID courtesy Bernard Hermier: "Very tricky... It is the same specimen as ~560, right? If I had seen only this shot, I would probably have suggested antoninus, but with the strong violet flush visible on photo ~560, this choice is out of question."

Find the bird word.

Look at the picture and try to find a bird connected word. All are one word answers - think of words like egg, beak, nest, plumage etc.

Note-Grids are a tool for collecting and connecting objects of thought (in this case, words).

They treat words and other manifestations of thought as objects that can be freely manipulated to create new meaning.

They break meaning up into individual words to facilitate a more fluid, intuitive, and improvisational approach to knowledge production.

What the American flag means to me is not an everyday question that I ask myself, but for this assignment I had to think a little bit more than usual. The American flag is a symbol of unity, justice, love, forgiveness, pride, freedom and bravery.

When I say unity, I mean that the flag brings us together. We don't have fighting within our country, we can stand together as one without dividing into separate groups, we use our words to negotiate rather than using violence and devastation.

When I say justice, everyone in the U.S. has a chance to explain their side of the story, so the story is not one-sided. People are open-minded, and we have a chance to explain what we see.

Love in the U.S. is also open-minded. We have a chance to love any race we would like: African-American, Hispanic, Japanese, Chinese, ANYONE. We also have a right to love our country, everything and everyone in it.

We have forgiveness, the forgiveness of God, friends, loved ones and family. We forgive each other when we have sinned, or made a terrible mistake. We forgive our country when something terrible happens and when something good happens we have the choice to rejoice.

Pride...as Americans, we have a sense of pride in our flag. When we see our flag we have this feeling like oh my, I live in this country were everything is fair and just. We see our flag, and we have no flaws. We are perfect.

Freedom, without wars and the fighting, well without our history were would we be? We would probably be without rights and freedoms such as freedom of speech, freedom for interracial marriage...NO RIGHTS! Without our troops we would be stuck...not good!

Our flag symbolizes bravery because of our troops we free, we are proud, and we are safe. Have you seen troops come home, or even a soldier who has died for our country? What symbol do they always have? The Flag! Our troops have bravery, I mean would you have the courage and bravery to go over to Iraq and fight? I wouldn't.

I will forever believe in our flag to symbolize BRAVERY, FREEDOM, FORGIVENESS, PRIDE, LOVE, JUSTICE and UNITY.

You white people make a big talk, and sometimes war, if an Indian kills a white man's ox to keep his wife and children from starving. What do you think my people ought to say and do when they themselves see their buffalo killed by your race when you are not hungry? ~ Little Robe.
