So today is my birthday. In quarantine. I didn't look forward to this day but honestly it isn't that bad. Although the weather is very cloudy and rainy, I'm fine. It's nice to read all the lovely messages and birthday wishes. I ate a good cake from my mother and today I will go for a walk with my boyfriend. I'll see him for the first time in 5 week although I'm used to live with him in a small appartment. And in the evening I'll make a zoom"party" with some of my friends. Let's see how that turns out but I'm sure it still will be fun and it's better than nothing. I hope you're having a great day too. #stayhome #staysafe
abwarten und tee trinken.... this is a german idiom which is used in english as "just wait and see" but literally it means it means "waiting and drinking tea". beside that's all we can do for now, that's what I really do all day right now (besides a bit of sport and learning/working from home). drinking tea. Instead of my daily cup of black tea in the morning I drink three of them and every afternoon/evening I drink about three cups of green tea. Maybe that's a bit too much but it kinda got a routine and I think routines are important right now to have a sense of normality in our daily life.
