This Myan pyramid is at the site of the ancient city of Chichen-Itza in the Yucatan jungle. The pyriamid is known as El Castillo. It also goes by the name of the Temple of Kukulcan. About 35 years ago I climbed the steep 91 steps on the side of this pyramid and entered the room at the top. It was a hot, humid day in the Yucatan, and I could never accomplish such a feat gain. In fact, tourists may no longer be permitted to make the climb. I scanned this photo from an old print.

Well well, I visited Egypt three years ago. I've been there for three days. I had not enough time to explore all the things on there. I was just visit the pyramid site at Giza, papyrus gallery, and some famous traditional restaurants. I didn't have 'good' camera too. Even so, I enjoyed the trip!

This community of Pyramid shaped homes and condo rentals is unique all by itself, but it also includes a large Beethoven bust (maybe 16' tall) and a bit smaller version of the Egyptian Sphinx.
