This is the lake that Lake Tahoe eventually empties into. (I think.) From here, the water evaporates.

Short version is the car got stuck in the mud at the wrong boat launch at Pyramid Lake. Thank you too a very helpful individual and his ultra powerful Toyota Tundra for pulling us out and pointing us to the correct boat launch.

The view of the Pyramid El Castillo, or simply El Castillo. Surprisingly managed to get a shot without tourists in the foreground. Not an easy task.
