One of the power transmission pylons that go across Burnside Park. The three bright stars to the left are those of Orion's Belt, as it sets in the south west.

Upwards view of a huge pylon near Giant's Bite, Quakers Yard, south Wales.
I converted to black and white and enhanced the whites a bit to increase contrast, straightened up and cropped square using the pylon itself as a natural frame.

Old pylons which once supported an aerial ropeway which carried copper ore from a nearby (now disused) mine to a processing plant at Nantmor, 1.4 km down the valley.
Nantmor, Gwynedd, Wales.
This pylon normally gets in my way when taking photos in "micks" field at night. but with the fog making the background almost a blank canvas i really like how it stood out with the torch highlighting certain bits.
I know i include a silhouette of a person in a lot of my night shots but i think it gives a sense of scale
