Long Exposure Erasmus Bridge Rotterdam

A pylon at the boat launch on Lake Macatawa, painted with the glorious colors of nature! (and, a pylon on which the seagulls do not perch :))

As seen out & about in Hertfordshire.

Just thought that in reality this would be a little dangerous with pylons earthed in a Scottish Loch.

This is the second of two recent stunningly beautiful rainbows.

Despite our squally showers this afternoon and this evening - this was the scene at 9.15pm tonight from the rear of my home looking East just before sunset at 21.45pm.

At the time, there was another heavy rain shower as the sun sat low above the horizon in the West to the front of my home.

Quite remarkable!

Wishing you all a Safe and Happy Weekend!

Another shot taken within a stone's throw of my house in Beeston Rylands. I used the 400mm end of my zoom to compose this image of the end of a rainbow positioned just behind this pylon.

High-voltage pylons somewhere in the Taunus Mountains near Idstein, Germany.

Kinda makes me wonder if this boardwalk path runs under the power pylons all the way to the distribution facility in Newark, California.

Given a wild abstract treatment.

Ludwigsbrücke, München

The Awatere Valley road prvides access to all the electrical power. So, there are pylons all along the road for easy maintenance.

I would've liked to have nailed the sharpness more accurately, but I've posted this image nevertheless, as there's something interesting about the owl set against the geometry of the pylon. Maybe just to my taste...

I liked the way they stood against the clouds.

I often try to avoid pylons when taking photos of views. However I can see they have a certain majestic beauty in the right setting.

Pylons across the lake, this is at our local nature park.
