Guyed High Voltage Electric Pylons crossing a marsh near Randolph, Rich County, Utah. For the Telegraph Tuesday Group. HTT!
Pylons marching across the countryside, being careful not to step on the A1. I like pylons. This is near Long Bennington. Described in my book "A1 Landmarks", published by Amberley Publishing.
I darkened this photo as it came out a bit too bright. Not sure if the white part of the sky is overexposed or not...what do you think?
I think the sky came out pretty good!
Score 34.5/50 (from the Score Me! (post 1, score 5) group)

The River Bollin shares its valley with the power pylons and the main railway line through Prestbury and Macclesfied

A pylon at Sunset. ( Sorry it's been a while since I posted anything worthy of note, life has been getting in the way, hope to be back to shooting again soon.)
Parallel lines and uniformity form the base of the image from directly below the pylon. It's fun aligning, might have been better lying down in hindsight, still interesting shot.
I saw a nice developing sunrise over the common on the way to work this morning so had to stop to take some shots.

A cover over the A643 Howden clough road near Batley, west Yorkshire to ensure that nothing falls on to the passing traffic below. I pass by this regularly and have thought for a while that this would make an interesting B&W photograph.

Happy snapping........Lee.
Guyed Pylons carrying long haul power lines from the Jim Bridger power plant about 170 miles to the east to, among other places, Pocatello, Idaho about 130 miles to the north west. As far as I have been able to determine, the pylons are guyed for virtually that entire distance. These are near Cokeville, Lincoln County, Wyoming. Happy Telegraph Tuesday.
