Near M1 J21A this large L6 pylon with 25 cables and around 400,000 volts is also a phone mast. Sky was cloudy with a little blue, looks better in Black & White.

More fun around Barnet Marine Park or on that day my playground. I was left wondering what must have happened in the past around this place with so many pylons left dormant. However, they often make for an interesting photo subject.

I used 9 photos of various shutters and times. Used a led light to add colour to some photos. Merged them and cleaned the photo up and this is the outcome of my effects.
Yes , this is one of the corner pylons of a previous shot taken here in the West Byfleet area where the power lines take a turn in a car park .
Is it just me or does this look like a welcoming pylon with it's arms outstretched in a gesture of a friendly greeting ??

When I was small, this was an Audi dealer, then for many years a Mercedes dealer - now Audi again.
The pylons are sitting by an area that is being redeveloped for many thousands of homes, so a lot of potential customers in the future.
A lone pylon on the dwyryd estuary,as this could be a record photo in years to come as the national grid are going to replace the pylon and 3km of cable,with new underground tunnel.
