Early morning shot ,Attenborough Nature Reserve, located between Beeston/Long Eaton on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.
Whilst strolling through my town centre after a heavy downpouring of rain, I noticed some large puddles, perfect for catching reflections of passerby.
the star found her. or she found the star. in palma's wet streets, the universe arranges itself for those who walk with purpose. striped legs, winter wool, and a reflection that holds more sky than the sky itself.
The Edge a new modern building on the Harbourside in Whitehaven. It is a water sports activity centre
the puddle is a portal. the asphalt, a tightrope. someone walks, but not here—over there, in the distorted reality of water. the leg floats, the shoe lands, yet everything stays in motion. an image about transitions, about what was and what’s to come. maybe even about what never was.
Puddle Reflections…
Last week on our walk we took our time, sauntering along the half frozen pathway sidestepping the deep puddles and trying not to slip on the ice.
At one point along the path Karen noticed this reflection in the puddle, she quickly snapped his shot and we moved on. it was only today when I took a closer look at t some of the images we had taken, I thought this was quite unique. so the blue asphalt would be at the top of the image and the ice would be a t the bottom.
I inherited the image and flipped it it upside down to make it look like a landscape.
