I've been told they are going to knock down this relatively new bus station to build a newer one lol. No wonder we are having Brexit trouble.
This is a reflection in a puddle filled pothole in a private unmade residential road in the London Borough of Bromley. I have flipped the reflection.
Thanks for visiting.....
a shopping cart/trolley, half submerged in a large puddle . .
at this angle, the reflection kind of makes it look like it's flying.
from any another angle, it just looks like a shopping cart half submerged in a puddle :)
for perspective . . . look for the waterline
( i dug this image up from deep in archives . ..
i thought i had lost it :)
Taken after a shower in August 2014. It was really not easy to get a clear shot without tourists in front and traffic
This is a very hard shot to succeed!
You need:
- A raining day with a clear up
- A puddle right in front of the building at the right distance to make the shot possible
- No tourists in front of the puddle
- No ugly buses, cars, vans, trucks, etc.
--> All these 4 conditions must be respected at the same time to make this shot possible!

Shot near the Koningshavenbrug (1878) - a decommissioned railway bridge crossing the Koningshaven which separates the borough of Feijenoord from the Noordereiland). In the BG is the Koninginnebrug, a bridge of the 'bascule' type (1929, A.H. Rood) and behind that is the Erasmus bridge (1996, UN Studios).

Just after sunset, the clouds retain a beautiful color for a couple moments.
There was trapped water from the changing tides that made a reflective pool.
It is almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream.
Amazing puddle reflection sunset of the Manhattan Bridge and Downtown as seen from Brooklyn.
a lone figure walks the last edge of day, between seafoam and silence, reflected in the quiet memory of light. the puddle becomes a mirror, and the beach, a borderland between motion and meaning.
